Interesting topic. I was always taught to have money on me either way, to ensure if Im in a predicament like this happens, Im covered. I agree the expectations of the date should be stated upfront,that way there is no confusion or awkwardness during check time.
Absolutely! I agree with you... the days are long gone where you can just show up for a date with your personality and a smile in tow... there are people out here who do not date the way our parents and grandparents used to. Like you, I personally never went on a date without money to pay my way and get myself home safely but if a man asks me to pay for something that he invited me to that would be our last date lol.
