Everyone has a love hate relationship with him. He's a horrible person but we can relate to his motive. We don't excuse his actions but understand. Him having no redemption fits knowing he himself is not a good guy

4:31 Small note on Welt, because I find that the whole room except him feels bad and it's logic. Welt's whole life got ruined because of Otto. His father (Elias Nokianvirtanen) and his hero (Welt Joyce) died the same day, because of Otto's plan, forcing a young Joachim to become Welt Yang, a herrscher at it. The whole goal of Anti-Entropy was to fight the Honkai without having to use Otto's very questionnable means. Meanwhile, just from Thus Spoke Apocalypse, any outsider that doesn't have context only sees that it's a guy that sacrificed the world (and himself) for his lover. I absolutely love how people are not just "he's evil!". That would be reducing Otto too much. Accorded, he is not the most virtuous soul, but he fights exactly for the same thing Kiana fights: a beautiful world. Except that, unlike Kiana, the only thing Otto finds beautiful in this world is Kallen (who's canonically lesbian, LOL, RIP Simp-Sama). Just to say, I hope you will keep with the HSR react to HI3 series !

@@Kia-x-Mei they infact do know, that mostly depends on how smart they are because the imaginary tree as a concept IS mentioned in game, you can search it up and you'll find the wiki on it in hsr It was a concept made by Zandar One Kuwabara the first member of the genius society who in turn made Nous, considering his stature some people are bound to know Tho you are correct on the being shocked part, not every one can connect to the imaginary tree and it would be an incredible feat considering it is the foundation of the world along with the sea of quanta, from my knowledge only 2 people have connected to the tree, that being otto for a brief moment when he made the new timeline and Kiana kaslana, the others are the aeons themselves as they (might idk I don't remember) are stated to be higher dimensional beings on the imaginary tree tho only one aeon has been able to connect to the tree which is HooH

the best morally grey character hoyo has written to my knowledge of reading their lore... I have yet to read the lore within GGZ yet, so it's possible there could be someone rivaling Otto. Despite how much I despise what he's done to the main cast, specifically Kiana and Theresa... He's a damn well written character. Maybe in another life, he could see his granddaughter wear that gift he made for her when she would become the Overseer of Schicksal... But sadly, this life is not that.
Still the whole fandom hates his for harming Sirin/Kiana (the same person). I think he also had a hand in why original Kiana lost her memories. I know that Siegfried's and Kiana's plane crashed because of him, they were there in the first place because of his actions. But later she was under his care. I don't remember if it was stated if he wiped her memories beceause he wanted to or conveniently she lost them beceause of the crash Pretty sure the second on the list is Kevin (at least for me)
