    I have only recently (since covid) to try more of the street food than I ever did before. I was always so fussy but not so much these days.

    Your Bahasa is getting very good Guys. - I did get window chicken on the Rd. opposite Padang Galak, that was boiled first, then fried, - Enak!
    Soursop/Seirsak?, have you tried this juice yet?

      Have not yet tried soursop!! But definitely will 👍 We’re trying to learn Indonesian language & practice every chance we can find 🤩

    You guys will have to do one on padang food. Much more window food with everything from eggs chicken, redang and all the veggies. It spins out any Aussies who see it. But you'll never look back. Love your vids and so good with your bahasa. (:-)

    funny that , I was the same in Thailand with the food although I still refrain from a few certain things , food poisoning isn't nice !

    Ever since my first trip to bali in the late 80s i have eaten from the carts, warungs, and where ever there was food for sale with no problems, maybe im just lucky😂

    We are moving to Lovina and have been eating in Warung in the north.
    Yes we eat ‘window chicken’ markets and stalls.
    Not an issue at all so far.

    I'm wondering if the salt is not a way of "preserving" the eggs....so they last longer. Did it taste any different Berg? Gotta love fried chicken, wherever it comes from lol. Love seeing these, off the tourist track, warungs. Thx for taking us along.

    That area looks great! Where exactly is it? We have been to mertasari beach where all the locals are flying their kites but the carpark was just dirt. Heaps of local warungs (really good sate Babi) but where you were didn’t look the same as where we were. Also very game to try window chicken 👏🏻😊

      When you get to the entrance of the carpark where you pay, turn right!
      Don’t get as far as the dirt car park

    I would love for you to go try the seafood Platter at Amphibian on the beach. Apparently it's only 200k for 2 people and it's freshly caught. I don't know whether you like seafood though. We are going to Sanur for our 40th wedding anniversary and my wife loves a seafood platter and especially for $20.
    Apparently the $2 burgers are really good too. It's down the Sindhu Market end but I am sure you already know this.

      Ah yes we did see the burger meal but I didn't listen properly where it was. I also didn't know where the Inna Sindhu Hotel was but I do now. It will be my first visit to Sanur but my wife has been before. We like the look and prices of that hotel so we might book it for a few nights and something more central for the rest of our stay.

    I haven’t been to that part of mertasari . Looks nice with all the pot plants . I have never eaten from a cart or a window and don’t plan on it 😂

      I think if I lived there I’d be more adventurous but when I’ve only got 10 days , I don’t want to spend 5 of them on the loo 😂

    Thanks for expanding on your window chicken comment. I've been the same in my past visits but plan on changing that this visit. Do you think though that your "gut" has now adapted to a more robust way of eating since you have been living there?

      I think what most ppl call bali belly is just not being used to the different oils , like palm oil , or the different spices used . I had a bloke in January tell me he had bb , as he got out of a taxi with his Mrs. I told him , mate if you had proper bb you would not be leaving your hotel bathroom 🤣🤣🤣🤣
