I going for fall term but there is no slots available
Will may refused 2024 students can get a slot in july/ Aug 2024?Will they have a chance for fall intake?
hi Yash, i could track down today's opening but when I tried to open the portal- i could after 2-3 mins of being in the waiting room- i could get to the scheduling page too- however it was just showing "no slots available" at the same exact time when everyone around me could book their slots. can you suggest any solution to this problem so I don't miss out on openings for June.
I would really appreciate your inputs here.

same. A lot of my friends got their slots :/ although, most of them got it through their paid agents. I'll wait it out, I am confident I'll find a slot by mid July.

Dont worry, keep checking. plenty of slots open so you will definitely get. there will be plenty of slots in June. also when using the application dont panic, the site is slow so be patient.
Don't worry, keep monitoring the slots. They will release the slots randomly so always be ready to book your slot. Lot of slots will be opened in the month of May as well but June is the major of all. They will release few slots in May as well so don't miss it.

you can't, they have updated the system as agents were misusing it by booking appointments with random DS160 number and later updating to with new one

I am writing to seek guidance regarding my US visa application process.
I recently discovered that my DS-160 form, created on December 5th, 2023, has expired. Unfortunately, I was unaware of this expiration as I was unable to find any available slots for visa appointments since its creation. It was only after booking my appointment recently that I became aware of this issue.
Upon contacting the US Embassy, I was advised to cancel my current appointment, update my DS-160 form with the new information, and then book a new appointment. However, I have a question regarding the CGI (visa) fee payment. Do I need to pay the CGI fee again for the new appointment?
If it is not required, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with the necessary steps to update my DS-160 form and proceed with booking a new appointment. Any guidance or assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated
