Titans fan here, but I love what the Packers represent and have a soft spot for them. Thanks for making a documentary like this free for everyone to watch.
I am long time Packers Fan from Austria. We hat no Football on TV and NFL was a not known but I felt in love in the game and I choose Packers. It is facinating that a small town from Wisconsin can beat from NY or Chicago. I will never change my choose. Thanks for this Film.
Come see a game at Lambeau Field fly into Chicago drive up bring layers of clothing you will freeze 🥶 your @$$ off lol 🧀Go Pack Go 🧀 Best wishes from Buckeye Arizona 🌵🤠🇺🇸🐎 I grew up in Madison Wisconsin 🦡🐄
I’m a Raider fan but I have a tremendous respect to the Green Bay Packers and Packer fans everywhere. I always consider them the “America’s team” because they are the only team in American sports that the owner was the fans even though the Dallas Cowboys always called them the “America’s team”.
My one trip to Green Bay was back in January 2015 (No Dez catch game) and I have to say their fans treated me very well. It’s a small town feel but they treat you well and I am an opposing cowboys fan. It was a truly great experience other than the loss. This was a well done documentary!
It’s more impressive when you learn about the history of the Packers and how numerous times throughout the decade they were close to leaving if it wasn’t for the fans stepping up. Not to mention all the titles they won in eras before the massive NFL TV contracts were created and they were playing in a stadium on par with a high school team is even more amazing. Bold but correct statement
This is great, I was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin my dad played for Vince Lombardi when he was with the New York Giants it is very nice to know more about the history of the team I have supported since I was born back in 61
Can you imagine how great this story is? Lifelong Packers fan, since Lombardi. It's mind-boggling how such a small city competed and still competes with the Big City Boys SUCCESSFULLY. Not only competing but being better. I love the Packers not only because of their football prowess, but because they have proven that guts, intelligence, determination and simple love of what you're doing will bring success. GO! PACK! GO! Big G = Greatness.
What a tremendous story. The entire time I'm watching this video I'm wondering why there hasn't been a movie made about the birth of the Green Bay Packers. In fact, it would be interesting to incorporate information from around the league during the 1920s and so on.
I saw the Packers play the Giants in London. They had fans from all across the world cheering them on. Kind of amazing when you look back to those humble beginnings. I wonder how Curly would have felt if he could see where they would end up? Incredible.
Born and Raised in California but I have bled Green And Gold since I was 5 years old. 30 years later, I still bleed Green And Gold and I'm now a Shareholder of the team I've always loved! I love my Green Bay Parkers 🫡🍺🧀 GoPackGo til the casket drops
Did you hear what the priest said?? They wanted to be Americans and speak English my oh my have times changed, I have always said if you live in another country you have to know the language and assimilate to survive.
I didn't know Packer fans being the biggest crybabies of all pro sports fans dates back to the final game in 1919 against Beloit. Since the early 1960's, the Packers have been supported by all the other NFL teams from revenue sharing of NFL TV packages. Jack Mara of the Giants helped Pete Rozelle convince owners of the other large market teams to split all TV money the same way the AFL was in those days. Without money from the Giants, Bears and most other teams, the Packers couldn't exist today.
Yeah, Packers are crybabies. They cry about their 13 NFL Championships, most wins in NFL history, highest winning percentage in NFL history AND? The Championship Trophy is named after ... VINCENT T. LOMBARDI. Yep, Packers do nothing nothing but cry. With laughter at anti-Packers.
Thank you for putting the series back up! Go Pack Go from a South Korean 19-year-old who has lived in Ghana and Kenya most of his life!

The 60s Packers I wound consider the greatest team of all time. From Lions Country.
We are the “People’s Team.”

That’s our boy Kevin Harlan on the narration👏
Wonderful account of the history of the Green Bay Packers.
The Packers are the greatest franchise in American sports. Yes, even more impressive than the Yankees, Celtics or Canadiens, in my opinion.
That’s a Bold Statement
@@BigBossCQCLegend It is. But one name alone backs up my claim: Vince Lombardi.

Even to this day, they go out to see the Packers play in freezing 🥶 temperature's. 🏈💥💪
It’s what makes football so fun in the winter.

They have one of the most interesting histories of any American sports team.
Awesome video is this from the history of the paciers DVD
Wow ❤
@20:44 If you threw the ball incomplete in the in zone you turn it over to the other team
Does anyone know when the series cut off the last time? I forget which one to resume watching.
this is actually episode 1. I think
34:56 Columbus Panhandles not "Panhandlers" 😄
Panhandlers would be an awesome team name, though
😂
George Calhoun is in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. With all he did for this franchise, shouldn't he be in the NFL Hall of Fame?

And without the Packers? Do you honestly believe that the NFL would evolve into the gigantic game of today? Not a prayer.
@@RonWinters-lh7egMaybe not in the Green Bay area, but yes it would have.
Packers are a giant P.R. for the other 31 teams owners.
Is supporting "the little guy" in a multibillion dollar business anything other than symbolic?
