Wait Mr Rob how come the 2nd example negates the sinTheta completely, the first parallelogram example has the product of the magnitudes multiplied TO the Sine of their conjoined angle of vectors, but how come it neglects it in the second example? I know sin90 or sinpi/2 equals one does it relate to this? Im utterly confused
It sounds like you are referring to this video, ruclips.net/video/X4tlk66BhAg/видео.html . The first lesson includes a geometric discussion, a derivation of sorts, to help explain how the magnitude of the cross product gives you the area of a parallelogram😁 I was confused/ surprised the first time I saw the area formula too. I did not negate the sine of theta, I am just using the quicker formula here and not working through the geometric process.
@@profrobbob oh wow!! I see now its so simple but I believe such a simple detail merits a bit more distinction or an emphasis to be made in your explanations as to avoid such small and easily prone to be an oversight or careless mistake in one's rationalization, and I have to say MrRob you are saving my education as one recovering from homeschooling disaster, I owe you so much and Im sure countless others from around the globe do too, you're a certified KING! Thank you & god bless your soul and mind, your family and friends are so lucky to have you! The world would be so much better off if there were more people like you to be around & to care for educating and in turn the welfare of the masses. Thank you again Sir ProfRobBob and that cant be said enough, much love from the philippines Sir ! *salutes 10x*
@@cochiloco8553 I am very happy you are finding my video lessons so helpful. I had a lot of questions when I was in school learning math, and still do from time to time :), and I listen to the questions my students ask me in class. Putting all of that together I try to make the best Math videos I can to help viewers truly understand the concepts I am teaching when there is not the luxury of live interaction. Your praise is very kind and appreciated. You keep me motivated to do more. But, you are the real star ⭐️ putting in all the work needed to achieve your learning and life goals. An excellent handwriting. Not something to expect from a maths teacher.
You the best ...am writting my exam tomorrow and you made everything easy...am hoping find more of your videos
This is really interesting as I am currently learning linear algebra! You explained it very well.
So simply and nicely explained.
Glad we could help...hope you continue to watch and share this channel with everyone and be sure to like, sub and support...BAM!!!
Sir thank you for uploading this wonderful video…you really helped me a lot!

Thank you very much
Why did you put a minus sign after the first det
