- My Las Vegas Christmas! Are you “giving back” this Christmas? Do you have a holiday? Give back? Giving back to my community is a tradition that we embrace on this channel. Making this holiday video is something I look forward to every winter. I love the reactions from these homeless folks when they see a hand wrapped gift and hear the words, “ Merry Christmas, I got you a present”. Most people are slightly taken back and take a second look at me. That’s why I’m always sure to smile and look them in the eye every time.
Struggling with homelessness, like these folks do is not easy, and honestly probably not relatable for most of us. Being homeless often means being “hopeless” so every Christmas I try to restore a glimmer of hope to as many people as I can. With these hand wrapped presents I can give them warm feet, warm hands and warm meal.
