Can you help explain how the auto line feed works? I find it keeps advancing line when I don't want to and I finish a spool in less than 30 min of cutting and creating a lot of bits of string everywhere not good for the environment.

Unless you have some metal protection around the base of your fence post it won't last long when rot sets in due to the damage caused by the strimmer...

They have been there for 10 years so far and no sights yet. I repainted them last summer and seemed fine

Hi mate, thanks for the video & review on this model of Ryobi strimmer. I purchased 2 along with 2 Ryobi cordless mowers, both for myself and my partner. Her strimmer went together fine but my strimmer I’m struggling with as the cables down the centre of the shaft won’t compress enough for me to press the 2 ends together. Did you have a similar problem ?
