Nice video :) Ferry access to Cumberland Island is from St. Marys, Georgia, and the historic town itself is well worth a visit. It's all part of the extraordinary "Cumberland experience."
Thank you :) St. Marys is great! I appreciate visiting in the autumn, when the town decorates everything for Halloween, especially love the scarecrows! -James
We moved to Saint Mary's a few months ago and was unsure about visiting Cumberland Island but thanks to your video, I'm looking forward in visiting now!! I'm not a camper and I wasn't sure how much I would want to see!! Thank you for the trip story!!

Yes you can. They have bikes at sea camp for rent. You can also take your own bike. Just make sure you check out rules of the island before you go. It's pretty primitive over there, but it is such a wonderful experience!
Get tickets to the ferry from the Visitor Center. $30 per person, round trip. Ferry leave at 9:00 a.m. and again at 11:30. Make sure you also have a designated return time. Last ferry is at 4:30 p.m. departure from the island.
Very thorough
Very good, I want to go now...thank you

That is not "rough water". Rough water comes over the bow and sweeps down the side decks.

If i decide to go day trip, what's time I have to get to the ferry pier and can we rent the bike over there?
