When I was struggling and eating plain rice for every meal a $5 dollar tree splurge was like gourmet night for me. Alot of dollar tree stuff is surprisingly good!

Courtney Raposa actually not true depending on where you live, there are non GMO and allergie friendly company's who put it there product in dollar tree when it's near the end of its shelf life(two weeks or so) because it get sold faster for cheaper and allows low income families a few healthy or allergy friendly options for a family friendly price... win win..... just read labels and get to know staff and they will tell you when good shipments come in...helped us save for a vacation
My Walmart has some $1 appetizer type snacks like this. We've tried the mozzarella sticks and they were ok. I'll eat them again for $1, though I prefer the name brand. It's a good option when you're broke and want a good snack.
Oh yes ours has seaweed, lobster eggs rolls, potstickers, and riblets in bbq sauce. Makes a big meal with rice that could feed 2 for 5 or 6 dollars.

Kim Oldfield my family always checks that but we never actually go by it. Like for milk, we just determine when it’s bad when it smells weird but not by the date bc I guess that’s just our Hispanic way of not wasting food

Frozen food takes a while to not be edible . . . Thats more a sell by date !!
@@tiny2819 it was pasteurized before opening the bottle. Once opened, and consumed, air and other pathogen exposure causes bacteria to re-enter, hence spoilage dates.

Dollar Tree is my jam! Such an affordable price for certain items that are usually sold for more than 400% more at a different store.
Wolfpitt debunks that myth 100% and shows by weight and price on how you are absolutely not getting a deal and most of the time are paying more for the overly processed foods at the dollar tree and other dollar stores than you would pay at some legit butcher or higher end stores. When you do the research you find that you are getting robbed worse and would be eating thee worst processed food on the planet.

They also sell pints that you can get three for like $3. They’ve got cookie dough, candy bar ice cream, etc. it’s great.
