28. "The Flintstones Show" Commercial Bumper - Развлечения
Fantastic set! 1983 was definitely part of the 80s sweet spot.
Philly 48 using that Kraftwerk 😮
I think the kid at 4:49 might be Jerry Supiran who played Jamie Lawson on Small Wonder.
0:07 - You can call Fred Flintstone many things, but lovable doesn’t exactly spring to my mind…
The BJ/Lobo Show-hey stop him,he's kidnapping a chimp!
Golden Grahams-save some for the rest of the Seavers, Mike
Barbie,Tracy and Todd Doll-Barbie cut off all contact with those two..they must've owed her money 😢
Strawberry Shortcake Cereal-a.k.a Strawberry Puffs
4. Starburst- If someone were to slide down a water slide made out of fruit such as lemons and strawberries as shown in this commercial in real life, I can imagine they would be in for a bumpy and quite uncomfortable ride.
25. Ringling Bros & Barnum &Bailey Circus- 9:25- Nice to see that The Pink Panther makes an appearance in this commercial, shortly following the Promo for his show.
Strawberry Shortcake cereal was delicious.
Whoa! WKBS was the Field station in my area! I used to live somewhere in New Jersey where we could pick up channel 48 until I moved upstate later in 1983! I remembered the ID at 6:40, awesome to see it again!
4:54 CARE BEAR KIDNAPPING!
*WoooW!!!*
who's out there washing cars before breakfast?
@ 0:00 at the beginning , the music of Kraftwerk “ Home Computer “ from an album that predicted the future …..
Yep!! So crazy they used Kraftwerk for a music bed. And yes- one of the greatest albums of all time
Huh, didn't realize anyone else in the Barbieverse was allowed to get married. 😀
I can't believe that they used the speak and spell sound effects on that channel. However, I'm not from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Some of these commercials I remember.
Who'd knew Kraftwerk & Woody Woodpecker go great together. ;)
Right?! I thought the same! Love me some Kraftwerk
It's a shame that WKBS wouldn't be around much longer due to the crumbling ownership of Field Communications being unable to find a buyer.
Tracy only married Todd for money, unfortunately…
10:24 - Lucky that dog fell asleep. God only knows what would have happened to those kids with that dog…
Strawberry Shortcake is such a weird franchise to me because I remember when it was this present thing everyone knew about but now I never see absolutely anyone who brings it up or remembers it. I didn't even recall noticing it until more lately. I guess it's just because I haven't gone out of my way idk weird.
TLS Toys has released new Strawberry Shortcake dolls and toys just this year, which indicates that some people do in fact remember it.
I figured it's still around yeah. Just funny that I never hear about it in passing anymore like many other big franchises that took off in the 80s.
Methinks it's finally making it's comeback just this year, along with Care Bears. Seen a lot of women's shirts at Target with SS and stuff at Five Below too.
Bunch of folks may remember Strawberry Shortcake from the Robot Chicken spoofs they did.
