The hole in the handle is there to maintain roughly uniform wall thickness. Plastic shrinks as it cools so if the wall thickness is not even then you get differences in shrinkage because thicker sections take more time to cool. If there are differences in shrinkage, then the parts could warp
I’m guessing the hole is for a recessed gate that allows either for a hot gate (saves on wasted plastic) or allows the gate to be twisted or pulled off of the part and whatever remains of the gate is always down in the hole. That lego revolver is modelled after a real military mega-assault revolver capable of firing 6000 rounds per second, instantly vaporing the target! Lego went to far
I'm not exactly sure if it was some nebulous "anti-gun" crowd specifically, this decision was more likely kind of just an extension of Lego's whole "no real life military equipment" thing.
@@princeCustos324 The thing is though, if Lego were to make sets of real life military vehicles or tanks (or even guns) it might negatively reflect on the _company's_ reputation, as such a thing could very well be seen as them condoning real modern-day violence or warfare. I'd say that's why most Lego war vehicles and guns and stuff are more seen in sets based on other IPs, as it could be seen as more on _them_ instead for the whole "violence" aspect.
I always have to mention this every time I hear about brick arms. Childhood best friends father founded that company. Ben to his house a few times gotten some freebies and saw stuff before it was released and other custom stuff that never went into mass production.

Let them have toy guns. Kids already know what grown men know....guns are cool. Danger only happens when there is lack of knowledge and respect
Or stupidity, then you get a Darwin award!
Lego wants to avoid getting related to wars or miltary stuff in general, so they had to avoid certain things such as realistic guns outside of specific themes such as Sci-fi (Star wars) and movie themes (Indiana Johnes)
Guns are less cool when you had to live under German occupation during WWII. The policy at Lego exists because of their own experiences with war and weapons.
@@mrkeykush693okay…
Still dumb though.
@@mrkeykush693 Sad tbh
"I think its too acurate" ☝️🤓
Honestly, having brick arms level detail in lego accessories would be sick
“Large caliber semi full auto assault revolver.”
Defund the ATF
Abolish the ATF repeal the NFA
That lego revolver is modelled after a real military mega-assault revolver capable of firing 6000 rounds per second, instantly vaporing the target! Lego went to far
Only an anti gun person could have an issue with a piece of tiny plastic looking a little bit like a real gun. Ridiculous.
I'm not exactly sure if it was some nebulous "anti-gun" crowd specifically, this decision was more likely kind of just an extension of Lego's whole "no real life military equipment" thing.
Everyone outside us is anti gun, as it should be. Anyone using anti gun as an insult doesn’t have the right to live in a vote
@@G-Cole-01 thats stupid tho kids have always played with toy soilders :/ with period accurate gear.
@@G-Cole-01yeah we all think tamiya condones violence or genocide lmao the mental gymnastics are olympic level
Only people with skin thinner than paper would get concerned about a lego gun looking like a gun
The newer ones always remind me of flair guns
I think they should make more realistic molds it’s great.
Questionable? No, that thing’s sick and I want one
Dude I think those are like the coolest official Lego revolvers I’ve ever seen!! They were like the only reason why I even wanted a Lone Ranger set
I was a huge lego kid, The older i got the more i feel like they really should make a series or brand dedicated to more aged fans.
I always have to mention this every time I hear about brick arms. Childhood best friends father founded that company. Ben to his house a few times gotten some freebies and saw stuff before it was released and other custom stuff that never went into mass production.
Dude that’s awesome
Just about there comment this brickarms is a godsend 🙏
Im guessing he just meant the accuracy of the weapon made it look too different compared to the general look of legos
Thats what I'm thinking, too realistic looks out of place when the lego guy holding it is an astronaut on a fort that is some mishmash of red, green, blue, and whatever else you had on hand
I'm sure it looked great with the originally intended set, but for general use it's too good, if that makes any sense
I don't get how so many people don't realise this...
@@seaharrierfrs1 they deadass acting like evil soccer moms.
Him
Maybe a Tiara can fit in it

I’m pretty sure the hole is put on the bottom as for helping mold the piece in the factory!
Guns being accurate in Lego is fine, actual brainrot.
I love how it looks exactly like the Colt Single Action Army. lol
The spoon made me fat, and the pencil made me dumb.
Black powder weapons aren’t legally firearms if we really want to get technical
That really depends on what country we're talking about
USA, left that bit out by accident
Same in Norway, you don't need any permits, you can go out and buy one no issue
Bruh what! I loved that mold. If they make swords more accurate why not fire arms? Not that a kid will care either way I suppose.
It has a hole in the bottom to make sure no little kids choke on it. 👍
They should have kept the mold from the Lone Ranger. Looks more realistic.
Wow, never knew they had that accurate of a gun in Lone Ranger! Wish they brought it back.
Is that an alchemist beat? Lol bread is a classic
Facts🗣🗣🔥💯
As long as there are two accurate lego revolvers on the planet, someone's gonna want somebody dead.
When i see a realistic lego revolver, my killing instinct inside me wake up
Boo hoo they look real bro they were so cool
I definitely agree with the vid. The Lone Ranger revolver just doesn’t flush well with Lego’s usual style, and it’s not like the classic one is super cartoony either.
thank you!!! I'm not saying it's bad at all- i just don't think it fits in to LEGO's rules and released bricks. I even said it was "PERFECT" lol, so refreshing for a decent, well-thought out response lol
@@maydayfigs Yeah, and this is coming from someone who really loves brick arms. Kinda wild seeing so many people miss the point and interpret the vid as you whining about gun representation. Sometimes, you just gotta be confident in your opinion and shake of the dust of the internet, lol.
I remember getting it as a kid SPECIFICALLY for the revolver,,, it looked so cool in the line ranger set
I think the hole in the handle is a cost cutting measure to use less plastic for more profit.
People out here too dumb too realize he's talking about style and not content. The problem isnt that the gun exists, its that its not "lego-y" enough to fit.
thats why they refuse to make military models? lol
I swear this mf better be trolling
Seriously lol
I would love to see lego putting realistic weaponary.
You listen to Conway 😂👊🏾
I wasn't even aware it was updated as a mold, very nice!
I need that big revolver 😅
brickarms
Ohh NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!! Not a toy gun!!! How DARE they bring such violence into this world?
Hey Alexa, why are more people in America killed with hammers than guns?
A kid brought one to show and tell in elementary school. Never have I been more scared in my life
Insane background music for a Lego channel, props
They should bring it back, it’s a cool looking piece.
i don’t like realistic looking guns with my lego because it loses the “less is more” charm i find from them. They’re cool still! love my guns, but for lego?? simple shapes >>
Based!!!
Those lone ranger pieces are sick. They should make more in my opinion.
Let’s be honest. That “hyper realistic” revolver always added to the imagination lore as a kid ahaha
I wish the more accurate one was brought back
"Remember that one time lego took their molds too far"
Mega construx collectors: 👁👄👁
Everyone peacefully living their lives and suddenly seeing 2 tiny lego revolvers online: *I MUST KILL*
And the Lone Ranger to this day is one of legos best themes, top five for me
Honestly, I understand why the went the way they did but I definitely prefer the older one, not the Lone Ranger but the other one. Something about it was perfect for Lego, not too realistic but not too cartoony
It may be a pin ejector slot or a cost savings move
