I'd love to hear an acoustic guitar cover of "Thom Yorke Ingenue" - The acoustic version, that he played on the Jonathan Ross live performance. Link: ruclips.net/video/EZl6BRY9IYQ/видео.html
u should cover and I love her. look at the kurt cobain version for inspo. it's depressing but so good. or you could cover i'm only sleeping by r. stevie moore or didn't have to do it (ver. 1) by cass elliot
I'm SO HAPPY you released your demo!! I'm a deezer listener, and i've had it on repeat for days!! when do you think you'll be releasing more songs? can't waittt
I’m hoping to release another single on the 30th but I’m scared to promote it a lot because I get a bit nervous about how my songs sound 😭 but I appreciate your support so much thankyou
You were asking after ideas for cover versions. Have you heard any of Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan's collaboration albums? They have some really nice songs that might fit with the vibe of the other things you've covered. (they sang as a duo, but I reckon the songs would absolutely work solo with acoustic guitar)
also, it would be awesome if you covered one of phoebe bridger's songs. like smoke signals, or funeral, or scott street. dodie would be another good one, you could sing intertwined or when. aaaand the national. once upon a poolside, about today, quiet light.... oh LIGHT YEARS!!!!
I mentioned "To Binge" last time I commented... Big Gorillaz fan! "El Manana" and "Melancholy Hill" would probably suit you, too. If you fancy a bit of Leonard Cohen, "The Stranger Song" is beautiful with those rapid triplets. Edit: Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" is a gem, too!
@@lucythelunchbox An afterthought: if you want something other than s ballad, The Stranglers' "Golden Brown" works surprisingly well on acoustic guitar... probably because harpsichord is plucked, too. Also David Gray's "Babylon," George Ezra's "Budapest" and Black's "Wonderful Life".
Do you have any advice for someone starting on guitar? I've been practicing for a little over a month and I still have good motivation but I'm worried I'll lose it like I have before. I dream I could be as good as you some day, def on my to-do list before I die 🥲
Im self taught so I do what I can haha I’m glad you like the way I play though. Just keep it easy, play songs you like so you’re not burning yourself out and don’t push yourself too much. I heavily rely on random finger picking to make things sound better sometimes lmao. Fake it till you make it honestly, hope this helps :)
lovely
Great song you picked,I really liked how your voice emphasised on the melody's moody vibe.
Suggestion for future cover:"Fade into you"by Mazzy Star

I'm not a musician, so I have no idea how hard it would be but I would love to hear your take on 'Never let me go' by Florence + the machine
