What a stupid question about China's consumers not spend like the US after the end of the lockdown! In the US when people is locked up during Covid19, the US gov't dropped helicopter money to it's citizens so it accumulate cash during the lockdown and this together with normal spending that is withheld during the lockdown resulted in revenge spending. China didn't do that so the households not only have no income during the lockdown it has to spend extra on items like face masks, extra senitary items...... So they are pretty poor out of the lockdown. No money no revenge spending! Simple as that!
There was a surge for tourism, hospitalities and restaurants after lock down.
It’s not that simple. A lot of people didn’t lose their jobs during the lockdown. They don’t spend because they worry about the future. There’s no single answer to that. The helicopter money you talked about isn’t the only reason for the high inflation either.
Though enough saving , no confidence about futures stable cash inflows.
When was the last time China 🇨🇳 reported something truthfully?
When was the last time you had a real job?
@@Henij89117 dude, talking shit on China IS his real job...
@@jerryzheng7114 🤣what a pathetic job
@@jerryzheng7114 Exposing Chinese lies is a great contribution to the rules of laws.
Maybe only the weather report is true
Good to hear chinese are spending time for wellness instead of luxury consummables.
that is why china is a lucrative market for the world second largest economy. asia's best consumer market is china. not japan, south korea or singapore or india. it is always will be china. like it or not. busisness continues.
Well done David & Yvonne! the 2 hosts interactive with 2 guests really well, those questions are spot on
Yes, it's fast recovering in all major cities all over China, and millions of overseas tourists are coming into China to tour & spend after Chinese visa waiver was offered to many friendly countries since several months ago!
Theres nothing in the numbers suggesting this. Chinese wages are not going up and chinese ppl already do not consume as much.
Chinese 🇨🇳 property sector, which accounts for 30% of GDP, is crashing.
- Exports and imports, accounting for 37% GDP, are down.
- Foreign investment (FDI) is falling over 90%, lowest in 3 decades.
- Foreign visitors are down 96% compared to the pre-pandemic level in 2019.
- Consumer prices are experiencing deflation.
- Youth unemployment hits over 21%, a record.
- Its fast-shrinking workforce is 10 years older than neighboring countries.
*Still, China keeps reporting outrageous GDP numbers.* Lol
Where does the growth come from?
lol. Cope more. Please cope more and continue spew out anti China nonsense.😂 No one believes it.😂
totally, they have no young worker now, some 100 years old guys are forced to work in their EV Plant. you know, the force laber thing.
on the other hand. young graduates are no employed, have to hunt Panda and dragons to earn a living.
你的数据不验证一下? 真的愚蠢
what are these commenters talking about ? Please stop inviting these to reflect the real China problem.
Seriously, to gain some confidence back from investors, the Chinese government needs to *stop its lies.*
🤣 lmao
Which lies?
Like Iraq's WMD?
China's economic troubles will take many years to fix. Analyzing monthly figures is a waste of time.
🤔
