This is Landon’s dad. Thanks for asking! We use Ableton Live as the DAW. As you can see, it’s a Shure Beta 58 for vocals. I run the vocal reverbs through a compressor side chained to the vocal channel. Then eq out the highs and lows of the reverb. The release time of the compressor acts as the pre-delay. This gives the voice complete separation from the reverb itself keeping it from being drowned even though the reverb is cranked. Always willing to help another audio enthusiast!
Pure little voice on her and absolutely musically talented obviously, piano, but certain songs need to be sung by an adult who has had life experiences and can put the proper emotion into a song. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with the song itself the way it was sung, but they just can’t achieve that level of motion. I’m mostly against kids doing covers on songs sung by adults unless they are just fun with no emotional subtext or context for that matter Kids should stick with age appropriate songs they’ll get the best out of their experience and their voice that way . I have no doubt people will disagree with me, but those that do are just thinking as parents and not considering music as an art form and the true gift to humanity, it is
