Great reasons to not substitute yarn weights! That makes a lot of sense. I appreciate your willingness to release patterns in additional weights if there is demand for it.

So excited to see Fletching in worsted. I have the current pattern, but worsted works up so much faster. We will see! Thanks! Love all your designs. Violet is my very next cast on in Bare Naked Wools which is located in Canton, my home town, & I’ll be visiting there next week! Yea!!!

Thanks for all your input on fit, especially your thorough expansion about what's going to happen when knitting with the wrong gauge.

I am so glad to hear what you had to say about make the yarn and the pattern fit. Don’t choose the wrong yarn for the wrong pattern. The owner of my LYS has made it sound like oh it’s no big deal we can make that work or something to that effect. And I’m a math teacher, and I have always thought, “HMMM, is that really correct?” And now what you’re saying totally makes sense to me and this is the first time I’ve ever heard that. So thank you so much for sharing that.

Am new to your channel and thank you so much for addressing this. I have been misled by others thinking you can substitute yarn weights and have bought yarn and ended up I couldn't use it for a pattern. So now I use the same weight and try to get the same composition as what the designer uses. Your patterns are so pretty. Looking forward to trying some of your patterns. 😊

Love your new pattern! I also understand sports and dinner. Check out the ninja foodi! It can do so many more things for besides the crock pot dinners with way better results! Good luck!

Jessica, Congratulations on Autumn Snowfall - such a beautiful design! I'm also excited for My Fletching in worsted weight. I already have the yarn for the sport weight version so maybe I'll flip my color combo for the worsted. Happy knitting!

What would be the gauge and yardage of the worsted weight sweater for small and medium sizes? Need to check my stash if I got enough yarn 😂😂😂❤

Jessica, is this a Continuing Shoulder? I have heard of it and the benefit of the technique, I tried to leave a comment on the 2nd video but it didn't.
