- Friday Night Funkin' mod time! I don't really play mods nowadays but hey, Matix made a mod of me (Bad Gateway) so let's play ;) Fnf mods sure are going in the NotITG mod charting direction aren't they?
Turns out I was supposed to play in low resolution mode to fix the black background in the chase sequences but I didn't do that... Try the mod yourself to see how it actually looks!

I would also like to inform you that almost immediately after this mod released, the Pulsus servers finally were able to recover from the swarm of players your video caused, and since then we haven't had a single Bad Gateway error caused by a server crash for the first time in almost a year :)

@@Koenig_Michi Thanks, but most of the praise for this mod specifically should go to Matix and How's it going?, they're the two people who actually made/directed the whole thing. I just made the game the mod's based off of :) (and the retry music)

thanks again so much for playing! the txt you guys were looking for was only in the Dropbox version and it was meant to guide you through the mod, so that you didn’t miss anything (like the hexatunes remix, which you definitely missed)
my role in the mod was mostly just directing and scripting (modcharts :D) and just making sure everything worked properly and smoothly, but everyone else did a phenomenal job and I can't thank them enough

Pulsus is a rhythm game for PC in which you hit incoming beats on a 3x3 tile board. The game's levels are made by the community and users can create accounts and upload their own, as well as being able to save their scores and see how they compare to other players worldwide through level leaderboards and Pulse gained from good performance.

In FNF modding, this can actually be possible if someone spent the time to program it! I'm sure with enough time and insanity, someone could likely recreate something like ADOFAI or osu if they really wanted to. Mods where you have to click on stuff already exist after all!

(People were already complaining about the Detected modchart for being too difficult, something I think TaroNuke was actually involved in)

The song Confronting Yourself has a fun history. It was originally a megalovania remix by Saster, replacing Frisk with Sonic and Chara with Exe. He then remixed it as a Sonic Exe song around two years ago. He enjoys making fnf songs now, and he's really good at it, and I would recommend giving his channel a look. Anyways, while the Fnf community was hyped over the Sonic Exe mod, someone found his Sonic Exe cover and turned it into a short Fnf mod. (without his permission, but Saster said it was alright with him anyways) and it blew up

Came here since I wanted to see this mod but my PC is too laggy to handle it, and there's something you mentioned during Confronting Yourself that I wanna mention.
If you want to make an FNF mod, it's getting easier and easier nowadays. Though the "one man team" argument is still an issue that many modders face. However if you have any talents to bring to the table, just make something to show the potential that your idea could have and then start asking around, showing what you made in order to get more interest. It's what I do.

Honestly if you wanna play a mod thats just full of modcharts, i would recommend you play FNF In the Galaxy.
I know you tend to gravitate towards the joke mods, but I recommend you check out Friday Night Funkin': Indie Cross. It's a really high mod based around Cuphead, Undertale, and Bendy and the Ink Machine. The soundtrack absolutely slaps. Big recommend you check out.

ahhhh if you want to listen to some well, really hard but super good songs, then i shall tell you what mod this is(fnf that is), Introducing Indie Cross, a High quality mod that is super good, taking characters from indie games into a rhythm game, now this is really hard with these mechanics on like insta kill notes that must be hit or you die or insta kill notes where you don't move, from notes that splatter your screen with ink or just death notes, and then you got dodging, attacking, left and right attack buttons, to literally playing undertale(one of the indie game characters come from this.), anyways some other things is that this mod has voice acting, like I said, mechanics, cutscenes, super good music. Basically this mod is a movie, also fun fact DAgames a popular music artist did some voice acting and helped out with one song.
