Got mine yesterday. I really like it but the lack of crawler reverse and the super slow reverse speed is a bummer. You did not even mention those two things which for a crawler are big problems in my book. Given the great modulation of it, it is a shame that we will have to change electronics to get crawler reverse and a proper reverse speed.
Hi and thanks for the feedback. Since I am relatively new to crawling this might have been an oversight on my part. I would consider myself entry level when it comes to crawling. The Austar is a great entry level crawler for the money that you are spending. It has it's limits and as I am getting better at crawling I will have to upgrade. Compared to the TRX-4M you only spend like a third for the AX8560 and don't have to deal with motor whining and have enough torque to overcome obstacles in slow speed. Probably even after exchanging the electronics, you still come out cheaper than a stock trx4m. I never thought that I would be in to crawlers and it is quite the journey. Be safe out there
You got my like just for the comment you made about the plastic case being bad for the environment, great observation I completely agree. It appears to be an awesome car I'm trying to get one too but it seems difficult to find and send to my country.
Thanks. Yes I have seen that some companies in the RC world already started using more sustainable packaging. I like this RC a lot. It's a great entry level crawler. Some who are more advanced in RC crawling might complain about the modulation when in reverse, but I am not at the skill level where that would bother me. The forward modulation is awesome. For the price you are getting a pretty decent crawler which you can still upgrade later. Have you checked on Banggood yet? The link is in the description. They also have another one with the same build but different name. Good luck for you
Been looking for reviews on this. Looks great. What is the steering travel like and can it be increased? The slow control modulation looks great. Lots to like 👍
Hi and thanks for watching. The steering travel is quite alright and you can adjust the steering ratio with the knob that says ATV. I hope that was helpful. Have a good one.
@carlitofisher that's brilliant thank you. I have one on order so I'm looking forward to it arriving and having a play with it. Also hopefully some mods/upgrades 👍. Thanks for the reply
Carlitos Way!!!!
All day and another Gr8 video with info!!!! TY.
Hey thanks. Glad you like the videos. 😊

@@carlitofisheron 3rd gear?
@@carlitofisher so slow
@@abyparker3820 yes, that's normal for crawling. If you want something faster you might enjoy this car : ruclips.net/video/DgC_YXfvn-4/видео.html
