diggy dub...yeah i also noticed his voice has changed to a higher pitch since the late 2000s...maybe it was medical reasons but im not feeling his ragged style like in the earlier albums
Looking back at his career, he was a true original in his style, he came on the scene in 1990 when there was no one else really with that aggressive style at the time in East Coast rap. Busta Rhymes had his crazy style but not in the same aggressive way. ODB and Onyx came a little later, Onyx were around in 1990 but they changed their style to be more aggressive around ‘92. So I think Redman was really the first more hardcore East Coast rapper of the 90’s.
And we still get it in and if it weren't for us ya wouldn't be doing what ya doing now...granted majority of it is trash but we made it to where ya have the freedom to put out what ya want.

Red man is hands down one of the best emcees of all time and has never failed to deliver in terms of what you expect when you want dope skills. It’s A shame i don’t see red man’s name when people make lists. I don’t see sooo many names and idk if it’s because lists are more of A modern social media trend so most people who know true Hip-Hop just aren’t on social media or if these people really do name their favorite rappers and are so willing to choose someone like J cole over someone like Big Pun…..i NEVER see BIG PUN’s name and it pisses me off because as A spanish one, Big pun is our BIGGIE and i’ll debate anyone who thinks biggie is better than big pun. ranting aside, Redman deserves so many flowers because he’s one of the best, always been one of the most real, dedicated, and undeniable emcees of all time. I can’t think of why people would not like someone like Redman he’s hilarious, witty, A vivid storyteller, etc.., list goes on

@@TheIcpfan23 I just read your comment correctly. And I feel what you're saying, except for the fact that Redman had a short lived stay as number one MC in the opinion of rap fans particularly on the east coast. That spot was taken by Nas, whose spot was taken quickly by Biggie. We might not agree with the stats or public opinion, but rap is a unique game where public opinion does matter. After Biggie's death, Jay Z took it and held it for a while. It's debatable whether 50 Cent got the crown but if he did, then he shared it with Lil Wayne and Kanye took it from them both.🤣
