It's bit surprising to take 21 hours to go Tawang for 420 km. But in Bangladesh it takes maximum 9 hours for same distance by bus.

I hv traveled thrice in Tawang. Hunger for traveling again to Tawang still remains in my heart. No problem in getting permit from Arunachal Pradesh House near Down Town Hospital on a very nominal charge. Totally safe and secure tour than existing Meghalaya situation. Visited almost all the hill stations of India but Tawang is the best. Madhuri (Shungtser)Lake and Bamulapass r of course dreamland.
