I have a golf too but don’t ask me why I like this car more on the highway, we have one of the sport & style ones and it’s just perfect for flying over imperfect highways with lots of bumps and undulations plus better visibility, you can get these for like 9k now they’re stupid good value.

@@Dirtxbc I have one of these, you can get a stage one chip tune through a VW service centre. figures will vary depending on supporting mods but it'll take a second off and do 6.5 sec 0-100 runs all day, because it also takes the rev limit out to 7300. you can just chip tune it, or get a bigger intake and intercooler too. depends on what you want to do.
Doesn’t the cheap somehow damage the car, engine etc? How does one increase horsepower and torque? I have one, it’s a manual 6 speed. Old 2012 model but still going strong on performance.

You don't chip a car without bolt ons and probably 5.5 with FBO and stock turbo but trabs would be DEAD
Car picks up a lot of power with just a flash tune no bolt ons req. Apr stage 1 is software only.
