I guess deep down Pricilla was a sign that being yourself worked back then and now she’s a sign that it simply doesn’t in that same way it used to.
Did she just change her celeb name? Or her whole sound? Or look? What? Because she writes All KINDS Of genres! I always knew they might not be great people, but now it’s hard to enjoy their work when I know they’re nothing like the image they sell. It’s why I find myself sticking to independent artists instead.
Only those who truly value transparency and authenticity will understand everything she said 👑 .
There’s a saying “ when people show you who they really are, believe them “ because only that person can show you who they truly are.
Ive always loved this quote! I'm writing this quote on my grave someday.
She seems very gaurded i can tell she was fucked over in the industry and she was insecure hints why she (Priscilla) has an alter ego "muni long "
I agree
A lot of songs that she intended for herself basically was stolen from her, case in point VSOP was stolen & I truly believe Cali king bed was stolen! Cali king bed is a song I wish NEVER WENT TO RIHANNA!
She did say she wrote Cali bed for Rihanna but I don't recall her saying it was stolen🤔I found out about her and her catalog on the Terrell show. She seemed happier then
@@cbow5582 she also said that on 3 separate occasions she would put together an album of songs she would intend to put out & then suddenly she would find out the songs were being pitched & sent to artists without her permission…Cali king bed is a song I feel hurt her because the way she’s sings it compared to riri is like oil & water! There is no way that song should have went to Rihanna lol
@nenej12 Now I have to go back and watch the show😂Not that what you're saying isn't factual but if anything she always spoke on not getting the recognition she deserved like Neo or Pharrell
She ain’t never lied, my heroes were so arrogant and jerks.
Ooh😮
She’s the most honest Virgo I know. Usually Virgo’s sweep stuff under the rug and are more subliminal and less straightforward. She’s extremely straight forward. I like it
Not this Virgo ♍️
This one either 😂 ♍️
@@jaquelbrown1172 gotta be talking about male Virgos cus ain’t way lol
@@filestramonay2218nope
Male Virgo’s are more that way, I know cause I’m one. Female Virgo’s on the other hand are more outspoken, I know cause my sister is one lol
Honestly, as a huge fan, Pricilla Renae broke my heart coming out with such culturally impactful music after changing her whole identity. I think it’s interesting to hear her talk about how the artist and the music don’t match when she herself has succumbed to the pressures of the industry and the illusions people use to get ahead. I guess deep down Pricilla was a sign that being yourself worked back then and now she’s a sign that it simply doesn’t in that same way it used to.
Did she just change her celeb name? Or her whole sound? Or look? What?
Because she writes All KINDS Of genres! So dabbling into them all, or any one at any given moment, wouldn’t be inauthentic or surprising. As for look, and rebranding, that doesn’t have to change Who You ARE, as in how you _behave_ when you’re not the stage performer.
I’m just trying to get a handle on what this eclectic woman left behind! Thanks for the clarification.
Her talking voice reminds me of Keke Palmer
And thats a shame! You inspire people and they want to meet their inspiration...
Who’s fault is that
God inspires a lot of people. I don’t see anyone dying to meet him

I loveeeee this woman. Like her standards . She real ...not many left
I love her. She’s amazing.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👑🐐🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🫶🏽🤲🏽
I like her French roll, haven't seen that since the 90s ❤
She's absolutely correct in regards to meeting your musical heroes. You really can't listen to their music the same when you've encountered a foul experience. Smh
She is so intelligent & beautiful 🌹🌹🌹
She is so beautiful and her personality is so magnetic.
It's not mistake. It's a reminder, both of you, are human, 1st/foremost/only...
Found her from the best I ever had cover over 15 years ago. Thanks for elevating her, Cam
Looking like Patti labell ❤❤❤
She gives Patti Labelle honesty and boldness in her answers
Rihanna needs to Sue whoever put her picture up
@@Pink_Li2k I was thinking about her before I saw her pic, Muni write many of her songs.
My cousin was a BIG fan of marlon wayans. She met him and said he was very rude. She is no longer a fan.. i looooove michael b Jordan it would hurt my heart if he was rude to me
I'm not surprised, he's gotten beside himself as if he put the whole Wayans on.
Michael B Jordan is very nice..my friend stepped on his foot at an event and he didn't even trip on her. No worries lol
@@yogaqueen1527 most don’t give a damn about their fans and try to stay away from yall. You can appreciate the talent but stop the idolization
@@flyflyfly2123 I don't idolize anyone, but I love me some michael b jordan
I discovered her on SoundCloud ❤ My favorite is Nekidd.
She’s bringing the 90s back! She’s a baddie!
This is the thing with women. We are protecting ourselves from most people. Its sad , but true.
But if you are genuinely friendly on the inside, others will see it.
Wow, I’ve never met a human being who didn’t know what a ballad was. And she was so easily humble, polite and kind in her answer without a flinch.
These are the types of questions Cam needs to ask and stay away from anything relationship related.
Love it sis Work .... someone told me i reminded them of her ...i see Now why Shine sis...🎉
I’m here for muni! ❤❤❤❤🎉
I agree, same! Met a couple celebs and it def changes the way you listen to their music
She is vibrating so high.
It’s obvious that a lot of celebrities lives don’t mimic the music. This is why they have writers. I think we have too many expectations on them as individuals. Just enjoy the art and go live your life.
she favors Erika Alexander
Straight to it. Great interview.
Sorry not sorry if i met someone trash i would not listen to their music anymore. Period. Its not about idolizing a person. Yall need to listen. You probably still around people who you dont respect so you cannot comprehend what shes saying
Hey Cam Newton Hello 'Muni Long' Girl you are so talented! Course you know that fanning you right now. I'm happy as I get to learning about your body of work. You are magnificent 😊
You don't even gotta meet them, just get older. My wife always say those love songs from the 90s and early 2000s are a damn lie! so she can listen to those songs like she used to.
Ok Muni,
Sweetheart you are a bit too REAL and honest for this business.
We sincerely hope you NEVER lose those qualities.
1 of the rare ones. Not to be player with.
Muni took it back in the days wit the hairstyle. the fan bun wit the side swoop that was the issh back in the 90s. Im glad to see she bringing back classic hairdos along wit the leather jacket. Muni kno she the ishh..
God should be your maker and your hero not human beings. We are not perfect and will never be.
This is a lesson I've also learned the hard way . Heavily ❤
I like her. Great guest.
Your parents should be your heroes, not celebrities that don't care about you 💯
Muni always droppin jewels
Never meet your heroes. My family have told me stories that are horrible. I tell my kids QUICK to don't worship/stan celebrities. EVER!
