TB was right on about his analysis regarding price point and game mode/multiplayer issues in this video.. way before the game fell off. I miss his insight, quality content, sharp wit and humor, and his fiery passion for the world of gaming (and for consumer advocacy). Rest easy man, hope you’re in a better place now.
It was not a bad game, it just wasnt good for long term because it got boring really fast. If an evolve 2 came out and got rid of the boring running that plagued the game id play it a ton, but when gamers get bored they will move on. Its kinda sad how bad it failed, it had tons of potential.
@@ethansprague2005 It's marketing really hurt it. Plus, the market is never going to accept a 60$ multiplayer only game, because multiplayer scenes inevitably die out and support inevitably will end, often sooner than people think, rendering the game a fancy brick. I despise cash shops and microtransactions and dopn't play any games with them, but they are a far more sustainable business model than what Evolve went with. By the time the game went free to play it was kinda too late.

What an absurdly painful video. Nostalgia overload and the loss. ugh.

Can you now comment on TB's videos?
