This spray drone video series is the most legitimate one I've seen. I really like how you're thoroughly explaining things. I could ask 100 questions when I look at something like that, but you're doing an incredible job covering it.
That's a great idea to get your wife involved maybe get her setup with a drone too, and double your coverage per less flight time per field. "A family that flies together, stays together."
Great episode, it's all beyond me but I like seeing the changes in things. In the early to mid 70's I remember seeing crop duster planes all the time as a kid. I remember hearing one loose power and crash about a half of a mile north of my house. Those drones and the tech today are something else.
Oh! I really like this video. A combination of aviation and agriculture. Thanks so much for sharing. Please take a shot of landing the drone on the trailer. I thought the video was near the end when I started my comment and you did give a drone landing 😊.
Good idea for pole, would say make it slightly extendable!!! Then get more height out of it!!!! Also, a simple electric pump for agitation??? Already have generator going, just a small set, one for each tank👍
my father farmed 250 ac of peaches in the 70s and 80's (when I helped out on the farm) .... the drone would be great for fungicide / insect spray ... timing / scheduling was always critical with the weather and irrigation and moving ground based sprayers ...
Hi from oz ryan. Just wondering what the custom charge is for a drone compared to hi clearance ground rig and helicopter charges. I had to get helicopter to spray 250 acres newly sown pasture that had huge weed problem and it was so wet couldn't get ground rigs on. The charge was $40 aud per hectare compared to $15 for ground rig.
I have a question. The navigation lights on your drone seem a little odd. I noticed when it was flying, one end was showing 2 green lights while the other end was showing 2 red lights. Typical nautical (or aeronautical) navigation lights are set up red on the port side of the vehicle and green on the starboard side. So at night you can quickly tell whether it’s coming toward you or away from you. I don’t know about drones so that is my question. Thank you!
Hey!! Usually, yes, we change the batteries every time we fill the tank/return to "home" On rare occasions we don't, but that would be because it was a light load and it wasn't in the air long enough to drain the battery.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. The short runtime on portable generators is one of my biggest gripes. During a extended power outage my loved ones are probably the last to think about changing the oil every two days. I’ve been pondering the effectiveness of putting a Amsoil bypass oil filter on a portable generator. Problem is most are not pressurized lubrication. I have found one manufacture that offers it on a few of their larger models. Duromax Power. Just an FYI Incase you might want to visit a similar option. With your media influence you might get more response from the involved manufacturers if you try it yourself. Wishing you and your family the best. Oh and great to see the drone in action. Glad it’s working out for you. Looks great. Definitely a move in the right direction. I like how you seem to be the family contractor that makes the risky investments and then work for your family besides meeting your own needs.
since you have a generator, get a small cheap air compressor, hook a 5ft pipe to hose and use compressed air to agitate the premixture in a tote. should be fast when it comes to filling the drone.
Is 120 acres per day what you have averaged? Not clear of the breakdown. Jw, it looks like a good way to go. The neighbors pumpkin patch probably gets fungicide, too!😂 Great video!
Hi Ryan, I'm just commenting to make sure you're aware of part 107 of the FAA regulations. This covers commercial drone use and its a little known fact that a license is needed to operate a drone in furtherance of a business. IDK if there is a way around it that you know but I wanted to let you know about 107
A lot of the pilot RUclipsrs are using 360 cameras for their flying shots so that they don't need multiple gopros or have to keep changing the mounting points to get the shot they want, not sure the cost is justified unless you start making a lot of drone spraying videos (or if your gopro dies).

Great job Hannah and Ryan, very nice set up, fair play👍🙏😎
Modern technology in farming so amazing. Good stuff
Love the drone on drone videos and the professionalism you always display. Thank you.
This video makes me excited to order mine tomorrow
I am impressed how drone work will make/save your farm money in its savings!

"A family that flies together, stays together."
That drone will save you so much money going forward👍😉 I'm looking forward to see the results this fall👍😄 thanks for the informative video👍👍
Looks like you have it down pretty good.

Need to build a skid that holds 4 totes with pluming to a couple mix tanks and you can put on empty with s skid loader.

Hey Ryan this is a really Cool video
Great video Ryan, I will be following the crop yield during the harvest that should be interesting , hopefully it will bump your numbers up

Great drone footage!
Am looking forward to more drone content

The drone puts the "fun" in fungicide

What was your speed and height with that 2 gals/ acre
nice video!
Just curious how long you think you will be able to use the drone before you’ll be forced to upgrade due to technology limitations/improvements.
Muy bueno! Espectacular 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜
Hey Ryan and Hannah . Thank you for another video. Take Care, Take it Easy and Trust JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like a great investment with applicator savings.
Hey Ryan!! Hey Hannah!! Do you change batteries everytime you refill the tank? Sounds like it will save some money for you guys too.

I think he has already gotten his training and permit. Check out previous videos.

You need a relay man, don’t take chances.
Thought it said genocide on the picture lol I watch too many crime channels I guess😂
