    Panelists:
    Jane Melia
    Jane is the co-founder and CEO of Harvest Thermal, a smart and eco-friendly way to heat your home and water. The Harvest system accumulates electricity at noon, when it is cleanest, cheapest, and most efficient. It also uses data like the weather and your routine to optimize energy use, cutting both emissions and cost compared to traditional heating systems. Before starting Harvest, Jane spent 15 years in leadership roles for five different start up companies, from cybersecurity to renewable energy manufacturing.
    Jane has been named one of the 100 Women of Influence in 2022 by Entrepreneur Magazine, and her company has won multiple awards, including the Time Magazine Top GreenTech Companies of 2024 and Fast Company Most Innovative Companies of 2023.
    Jane holds a PhD in fluid dynamics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London.
    Heidi Lim
    Heidi is the Director of Product and Community Partnerships at Twelve, a company that transforms carbon dioxide into tangible products. In keeping with their mission to build a fossil-free future, Twelve has engineered E-Jet, a sustainable aviation fuel, and CO2Made apparel, tech, furniture, and more. Heidi worked at Delphix, a software company, for several years before deciding to make the jump into the carbon removal field and contribute to solving the climate crisis.
    Heidi has also served as the COO of LitPick, an education start-up that provides free books to readers in exchange for their reviews, promoting literacy and writing.
    Heidi received their Bachelor in Environmental Engineering from Harvard University.
    Sean Wihera
    Sean is the Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships at Clarity Movement Co., a company that has revolutionized air quality monitoring. Their solar-powered, weatherproof sensors include cellular connectivity and easy upgrades to monitor several pollutants at once. Sean has many years of experience in the sustainable energy sector, previously working as a Program Manager at Berkeley Lab and an Analyst and Program Director at Berkeley Energy and Climate Institute.
    Sean is currently a member of the Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee for the U.S. Department of Commerce, an advisor for the Berkeley Startup Cluster, and an I-Corps Mentor for the National Science Foundation.
    Sean received his Bachelors in Political Science and Government from UCLA.
