All thats missing is a new transmetal Rattrap for Dinobot to ride xD. While its not something I'd go out of my way to pick up its still a nice pack of cartoon addons.
I feel like hasbro designs their figures to be upgradable for a few reasons being that it makes their budget more efficiently used by letting third parties make upgrade pieces and it makes sales rise since there are people who get their figures to justify the upgrade kits they want. I remember liking dna design’s SS movie shockwave’s kit so much that I got him and the kit on bbts lol.
I once bought a Transformer-the white sports car from Power of the Prime, because the Toyhax sticker set looked so cool. They turned it into a Trans-Am with the firebird and everything. So I bought the upgrade set and then the figure.
Why doesn't Hasbro just start making their own upgrade kits then? I know they have started to with that Kingdom upgrade kit, but they should've released far more. People would GLADLY buy them.
@@ElBombastico883 because it’d take up too much costs. 3rd party companies make these kits because they can start on a clean budget without having to develop the figure themselves. Hasbro put most of the budget for each figure into its development and production, there just isn’t enough to make more in most cases.
I've heard about a recolor / slight remold Optimus Prime figure that has him all gray with battle damage. Apparently this is to emulate his death scene from the 86 movie. But it's still a fully posable and transformable figure. I'm not sure if that would be considered morbid and if Emgo would ever consider getting such a figure.
The Scorponok accessory is definitely not that good, but I can appreciate their effort to recreating the Beast Wars episode “Gorilla Warfare”, where Scorponok’s wasp was meant to turn Primal into a coward, but turned him into a rampaging terminator instead
DK-29 KINGDOM ACCESSORY SET UPGRADE KITS: Scorponok: • Fly accessory for inside Scorponok’s torso and into one of his claws. (Use the correct assessor for the fly sent from Scorponok’s claws.) Blackarachnia: • Cosplay Visor with Wire Handle (Blackarachnia dons a cosplay visor over her eyes with a wire handle.) Dinobot: • Gold Disk (Dinobot recieves his gold disk.) • New Visible Hands for his Raptor Mode (Dinobot’s raptor mode can recieve his new hands.) • Stone Age Axe (Dinobot recieves a Caveman’s Stone Age axe.) • Gold Bandoliers (Wrap two gold bandoliers correctly around Dinobot’s upper torso.) • Pair of Pistols (Dinobot also has two pistols.) • Sniper Rifle (Dinobot is ready for war with his rifle.)
With accessories like these and even figures of characters who weren't in the Netflix trilogy like Waspinator and Terrorsaur, it's amusing to me how the releases to coincide with the Netflix show are being played up as the original Beast Wars characters rather than those from Netflix. This is probably because most people, myself included, didn't particularly care for the trilogy. The first chapter was fine, kind of cool actually at parts, but for me it just became boring, weird and too complex, especially in Kingdom.
@@meryl-gear-survive Yup, I always thought that was odd. The Transformers barely reach Earth at the end of the series whose very title is "Earthrise", plus there are no humans there...yet the figures from that subset transform into human vehicles. Some of those figures I actually like better, like Optimus having nice storage for his rifle, but thematically it just was odd.
@@Archive_7802 I don't think I ever saw much if any of Armada, but I agree his characterization on Netflix was cool. I liked Optimus Prime and Cybertron Megatron as well, and Optimus Primal's aggression and mistrustfulness was interesting too. Bumblebee being ardently against the Autobots at first was also very interesting. Few other characters stood out much to me though, especially in Kingdom.
Seeing kingdom or w/e Dinobot, I'm beginning to consider getting that over the MP. Both their faces look pretty good, and I'd really just be getting it for robut mode.
The reason the bug can be on his chest is because in a beast wars episode one clung on to him and made him go crazy🤓 Also why did dinobot get stormbreaker
Why didn't they add a second joint to the new claw for some great finger poseability? That and a spinning tail weapon and new sword would've made it a perfect kit. They could have skipped the other stuff. These add on kits are always frustrating. They give you one or two really great pieces and then a bunch of stuff that you didn't really need or want and they miss a few things that would've really put the upgrade over the top. Arrgh.🙃
I do hope you get an upgrade kit to make Kingdom Scorponok a little taller (changing his legs, for instance). He looks WAY too short for his own good, and he needs the extra height. If you do decide to go down that route, might I suggest the Kingdom Scorponok YYW-15 Upgrade Kit? It gives him a better waist, slightly longer legs, and replaces the scorpion stinger for one that resembles his original toy and show model.
Since we’re on the topic of Beast Wars, did you hear that the Legacy line is making the Transmetal 2 Dragon Beast Megatron, Emgo? If so, what are your opinions on it?

They do
Hey, i bought Movie 1 Megs as soon as i saw the upgrade kit for him... so i guess it works.

So Dinobot gets a Golden Disk? Thanks DNA design, always wanted to recreate my childhood trauma.
So this is mostly a "So you can recreate that one part from that one episode." type of kit.

The new hammer for Dinobot is giving me some stormbreaker vibes
Dinobot’s Upgrade Kit includes a golden disc, new hands for his Raptor Mode, a prehistoric hammer, gold bandoliers, pistols and lastly a sniper rifle.
Honestly should have just been a Dinobot centered kit with a new tail weapon and sword. Other than that, Dinobot looks badass.
Why not a bit of both???
The Scorponok accessory is definitely not that good, but I can appreciate their effort to recreating the Beast Wars episode “Gorilla Warfare”, where Scorponok’s wasp was meant to turn Primal into a coward, but turned him into a rampaging terminator instead
I think that's also one of the few episodes where Primal closes his mouth plate all the way emulating the classic Prime look.
Dinobot’s war equipment is similar to John Rambo in the Mortal Kombat series.
Is the Golden Disk stand able to work with Hasbro's stock Golden Disks that come with The Ark and Terrorsaur?
I’m guessing so.

Amazing upgrade kit, specially for dinobot fans, some western music sounds in my mind
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly?
Dinobot is Goat will never forget his sacrifice 😭
Love the Vids Emgo been watching for years. I miss the sad Pac-Man
You see him more on weekends :)
But get excited when "We Screw" for some reason, maybe it's the accent
I love when he shows his age using lines like "plug it in, plug it in". I show mine by getting the reference. :D
I wonder how Dinobot looks on TM Rattrap in vehicle mode???

Some Siege and *most* Earthrise figures never appeared in the show as well, with the Earth modes definitely riding off of “it’s the 80s designs”
Yeah… but I DID like Starscream’s character, starting as a likeness of his G1 counterpart, ultimately pulling a stunt like his Armada counterpart.

That’s dinobot’s makeshift hammer he made in code of hero to absolutely annihilate all the predacons there.
It's basically Dinobot's improvised middle finger to Megatron after soloing the Predacons, yeah. And then he blew up the Golden Disk.
beast chest of dino needd a upgrade for sure
This is really dope
Better this than the Dreaded Brown Boxes , mascot
The golden disk

@Mathias_daily_pics I have not reviewed that lol

Dinobot as Pancho Villa. Lol
Anyone else got a severe case of deja vu watching this?
No why
Wait isn’t that the Vok disc? The symbols are different from the ones on the disc that Terrasaur came with aren’t they?
Terrorsaur's disc is sounds of Earth on one side and Vok on the other. This disc has the correct symbols for the Earth Golden Disk.
Hey Emgo, are you not doing live streams anymore?
I did one last week. They're on Fridays
@@emgo316 Ok must have just missed it. My phone is set to notify me on Friday's maybe the setting got turned off I'll check it out. Thank you !
