I gotta disagree I think the original sounds better. Like it doesn’t capture the joy exhibited in the original theme. This feels more electronic, and toned down making it less effective.
The night has ended... But a new life has just begun. Because of one fate being altered all those years ago, the lives a little black kitten helped with are massivly different. Including those he didn't have to save, like the others in the Special Prison (where Yomiel spent ten years for his crimes, while being cleared of those he was suspected of which led to the crimes he comitted: kidnapping, escaping from the police, and a threat to murder - ten years in jail, but he wasn't alone. He still had his fiancée when in the original timelines he lost them just before he could meet them again.
So many reveals at the end. Such a good game. Can't believe I never played the original. Would be be interested in seeing a sequel with a new cast at some point.
Finished the game a few days ago. What a unique and charming journey it was. I usually avoid story heavy games but everybody seems to love Ghost Trick so I took the plunge and I had a blast.
This sounds way worse than the original version. The feeling of joy from this theme just doesn’t hit as well as the original. Less effective, more toned down and more electronic. The sense of joy is irreplaceable in the og. Hot take: the original version is my favourite theme in the game and I was so disappointed that you can’t access it in the jukebox, why did they replace it with reincarnation?
... Am I the only one thinking the emotions and feelings of the songs are actually enhanced by their more "electronic" tones? That the electronic tones help them come out even stronger?
@@ElodieHiras Well I doubt that you are the only one with this opinion. There are 8 billion people in the world there is a pretty good chance that someone’s gonna agree with you. I do disagree that the electronic tones enhance the song it makes it feel less authentic, and not as effective and strong in conveying happiness and joy.
@@Powder-Point What do you mean "less authentic"? I'm genuinely curious as to why I'm one of the rare few whom apparently feel like the emotions are conveyed clearer and stronger by electronic tunes, when most people feel that the electronic quality dampens it instead?
@@ElodieHirasWell for me it is the opposite I think the electronic sounds makes the song sound less bombastic and more toned down for my liking. I don’t feel as happy listening to this ost as much as the original one. So it does quite the opposite, the music does not convey happiness or it’s emotions to a greater extent than the original. It cleanness can contribute to this.

Ye I liked the gameplay but this story is finished. They'd need to come up with new abilities and possible different twists tied to that as well.

I couldn't resist the urge to dance when the main theme started playing. That feeling of "Hell yeah, mission accomplished and everyone is safe now!"

I cried so much finishing the remaster and now everytime I hear this song my eyes tear up, Ghost Trick is such a special game

This game is awesome. A bit on the easy side, but it is still satisfying to go through the proper sequence to change someone's fate.
