@Yroko the flash was genuinely a good show and from what I've seen of the Adam west show, the performances of the villains like riddler for sure, penguin especially and earth kitty's catwoman are phenomenal and comparable to any modern ones. Robin, Joker and Batman are good too ofc. I don't see the 1990 flash show as camp at all though. It's genuinely good. Lois and Clark is a mix of camp and modern good character writing. I know this may not be your thing but the Gotham TV show also perfectly balances camp although its less visual obviously.

I love how Superman dodged the hit and let the other guy get his revenge for him. And how he posed for selfies with everyone in the police station. There's a very tall man who walks around Hispanic cities dressed as Superman (the Reeve costume, not the fancied up later costumes), and he poses for selfies. The reactions of the people he meets are great. Some look at him like he's crazy, but most of the people love it. I think his RUclips channel is called Tal Clark.

The one funny thing I remember about this version of Superman was that he loved eating lots of sweet snacks and never worry about getting fat, so Lois regularly gave him a whole plate of it. 😁
And Helen Slater, who played Supergirl in the 80s movie, played Supergirl's adoptive mother in the TV series. I love how DC respects the actors of the past... The original Jimmy Olsen and the 50s TV Lois played Lois' parents in the Reeve's Superman movie. The Jimmy from the 50s TV show played the bartender in Superman Returns (and so we saw old Jimmy hugging the movie Jimmy). Chris Reeve played a scientist in Smallville, and Margot Kidder played Reeve's assistant. We saw a lot of old DC's TV characters show up in the Crisis on Infinite Earths TV crossover event. Etc.

God, look how colorful that costume is! I miss when superheros were portrayed bright and colorful like that. I had high hopes for that Superman and Lois show, but it just didn't work for me. Can you imagine Henry Cavill in a Superman costume as vivid and comic accurate as Dean Cain's Superman costume was? I'll always wonder what might've been, if they'd made that Justice League show in the 90s or if that Aquaman show on the WB around the time of Smallville had happened.

The disguise isn't just glasses though, it's a complete change of behavior, posture, and additude. If an adaptation of superman fails to understand that, it doesn't do a good job with clark kent.
