Ok now that I actually watched this: >Picking the same operator twice will E2 them. >Check skills before starting the stage. >Get Hope before recruiting (if no hope, get the free people.) >Investing in the shop will unlock extra shop slots and like 2 new relics (but you need to deposit like 500 total for all rewards)
You are lucky Clay. The developer acknowledged your skill issues and in this new patch they implemented new training stages at the Archives tab for specific mechanics the new players may not have a clue on how to tackle. I just completed them, and I think that they will help you a lot
Clay on 1st episode: rejects Mountain (furry, not waifu, etc) Clay on the 100th episode: I need Mountain, I need Mountain, I need Mountain talks about character development 😂😂😂
@ oh none of them are unlocked yet it’s just flowers of qundil is a much better choice than two hope, not just for it’s regen buff but that other events become better when you have it
Good news, Clay! Arknights saw your performance in their game, and decided to add extra tutorials (with some orundum as a reward) just for you! It's in the Archives section on the main menu (below the Friends one) and the blue Training Grounds section at the bottom of Archive.
Man, i did not expect someone else to remember Spiral Knights. Played it way back in the day and tried it again recently - still some players left even after a decade of maintenance mode.
Il Siracusano was my first major event so I remember struggling through it with a severely underleveled team. I didn't even have an E2 yet, but I went and farmed IS like crazy to get what I needed to raise Ethan so I could barely finish the main stages before the event ended. Got it done on the last day. All of this was because I didn't want to miss how the story ended. It's really, really good and is the main draw of the event. This is what finally puts the pieces together on what the deal is with Texas and Laplace, and it also heavily features Exusiai which is just like an extra slice of apple pie after an amazing meal.
@@ClayChoShow It absolutely is a narrative-driven event and it makes perfect sense why you'd find it lacking. I was new to the game playing it and hadn't experienced a ton of mechanics yet, but looking at it now the event mechanics and maps aren't that exciting. Under Tides for me was the opposite. The story I didn't like all that much but I found the stages to be really neat and creative. I'd recommend giving that one a go, and as a special bonus you get Gladiia who is the best puller in the game and is about to get a ridiculously good skin.
@@ClayChoShow You might find the Siracusano boss to be interesting. Perhaps forgo doing the character side stories for now, and instead focus on just the normal stages.
5:19 Idk why you didn't grab Lava or the reserve operator here lol. You didn't have any hope left, and those operators don't cost any hope. So its better for you to take them even if you don't need them. Because, you know, they're free.
On your squad screen in the rogue-like you can see all of your opreator skill and clic the ones you want to equip, it default to skill1 every time so you have to think about changing it.
I'm so glad to see Clay finally enjoying rogue like mode, I hope he's going to make more IS content. The randomness is so fun, some time you can get broken Item, and free max level operator.
the cool thing IS2 is that you can just borrow a Thorns and he will solo the entire run for you also make sure to invest into the skill tree, it helps a lot you can also do castle sightseeing for now, just to get used to the game mode, but do be aware that you won't unlock any new items that way use your two weekly event unlocks
ah yes IS mode ,my favorite mode to do while waiting for my Sanity recover ,some tip for IS: since you doing on normal once you finish a run you get a score this score will full up your IS rewards , try invest on the trader because the higher you invest the better items you can get like there 3 collectibles in IS2 where the more ingots you have your entire Team have alot of ASPD where snipers become a fucking Machine Guns, to unlock the other squads you need have 5 operators of a class like have 5 snipers or Medics ? you unlocked the Sniper /Medic Squad where they are easy to promote and such , the 5th Floor boss you cant let Leak because they take 30 of HP if you had less than this is insta fail your run and to finish the hardest Squad to Unlock you need complete a Run while have 20 Operators on you Squad
On that Il Siracusano "world" map, there are a few buttons on the right side where you can quickly scroll through all the available stages, just tap on those two crossed swords xD
6:30 this shining square near wisadel means promotion, if you choose her there she uncaps her limit from E1 and has 1:1 stats are your wisadel in general content
8:15 "We really need to destroy these men faster" while waiting 4 dp too much to deploy Amiya, Kroos skill is up but not used but screaming is truly the mood
Thank you for showing a little bit of IS. I am still learning Arknights myself and figuring out that and Reclamation Algorithm is a doozy for me. At least those modes don't use stamina. I guess you are saving your pulls. Understandable so many are saving for Lappland Alter.
For the record, Reclamation Algorithm is geared towards much more built accounts. I would recommend anyone try out Integrated Strategies before RA. RA is for later.
Eventually you will unlock a starting perk where any sniper/healer unit you [recruited] will be automatically be [promoted] to e2(if you have them at e2) So after that it’s really just a matter of brainless grinding. There’s not that many stages so by then you will have the general winning strat for different stages memorized.
Stick to one integrated strategies (and I’ll say it again if your gonna stick to one stick to the Misuki and cearula arbor one, it’s the water themed kinda thing) you get stronger the more you’re u play the same one and uts a lot easier to learn thats mechanics of 1 as apples to 3
Ah I forgot how wild IS is early one more so without even all the 3star's max'd level and skill level. Good luck learning IS can be endless fun. PS: your Kroos2 is still SL3 >_>
Playing IS trains your sense of placement. But, if you want to complete it the easy way, you could just stack life points. On final stage, with above 50 life points you can clear the mobs and just let the boss go through your blue box.
IS is actually hell, especially at higher difficulties. i've completed all 170 levels of the reward ladder on IS3, but IS2 (the one you're playing; IS3 is the blue jellyfish themed one) is still worse than IS3 for me. though, as a tip, you can actually borrow units from friends when you start with your 3 operators at the beginning to carry you. the most stable starting squad i've found so far is usually spot/gummy + a strong ranged unit, i like typhon and logos (wisadel can do, but not as stable or reliable since at E1 her S2 can't really damage high def enemies) and a kroos. arts damage is the way to go for the first few floors, unless your starter carry is someone with physical damage high enough that they can still punch through high def, eg typhon S2. thorns is also really good here once you E2 him, since his range is really well suited for IS2 maps.
Civilias in the game are extremely annoying, in chapter 8, any of those civs die will take off one life, in Texalt event, getting them killed will increase the bar and too much will trigger asset liquidation. Also I hope you enjoy babysitting taluah
As someone started along with clay and quirk Its honestly funny how IS turned into my most played content after rushing to 11-6(standard) for logos E2, Also clay u gonna get the abyssal daddy? I got him, hes really good and has an amazing S2 AFK skill. Meaning that u can just E1 him and place him on a lane wait for about 30 sec(if on 2x speed) than he solos a lane(he could require 1-2 healer depending on his level)
Also you are a little early for is. There's mechanic in is to upgrade your characters, but you literally can't upgrade anyone, cause you don't have many E2 units
If you want to try Ulpianus you can Add me I already max him out. Its Dr.Bones btw also if youre reading this comment section you can add me as well i still have more slots
God you could have E2 Wi´sadel like on the second or 3rd stage adn even then you didn´t adjust the skills of the operators once and always took the default first skill. God is that painfull to watch.
When she integrate on my strategy till I ark night
When you night but she keeps arking.

4:54 On very first recruitment in IS, you can borrow support operator. So you can bring mommy degen, Penance, Dorothy, etc; to carry your IS run.
Clay : I want some Challenge
