- I made a cement pot using rug/cloth to make flower pot that looks like the biggest flower in the world. The biggest flower in the world is called Rafflesia arnoldi.This flower is the largest single bloom.Native to rainforests of Indonesia and Malaysia, the flower can be up to three feet in diameter and has weighed in at more than 24 pounds
Rafflesia is also known for its scent. Dubbed the "corpse flower," it reeks of rotting meat-an adaptation it has developed to attract the flies that help pollinate the plant.This flower only grows on the tendrils of the Tetrastigma vine, which in turn only grows in pristine rainforest-meaning its habitat is rapidly disappearing.
With that brief information about the flower,
creating one with Cement for the garden or for keeping on the porch plus to teach others about it is a great idea.
Making it is very easy and adventurous.
Here are the materials needed to create this kind of pot.
Materials:
1. Sand and Cement 2:1 respectively
2. Cotton cloth
3. Water
4. Bansin
5. Plastic bottles
6. Paint
7. White Cement (Optional but getting for more strength keeping water out)
