I love your videos as a jamaican living abroad, I miss home so much and it's good to see some of the places that your videos show are familiar to me. Keep up the good work
Whenever i feel like i want to go to pricemart in portmore I can come to this video thank you sir/mam also u should have covered the people faces you could get in trouble.
Didn't I hear a slogan said Buy Jamaica Build Jamaica 🤔 all is well for now but I wonder how many Jamaican going to keep up with this it was like mega mart at first for me thank God for my Corner shop I can use the membership fees to shop at my corner shop who agreed 👍
Jamaica needs lots of factories to manufacture things that said made in Jamaica 🇯🇲, Jamaica can even have assembling factories for cars 🚗and trucks 🚚, and should have one of the world's state of the art hospital in the Caribbean Island because of it's Bauxite resources and minerals....!!!!!!!
True true ..like trinidad and tobago....manufacturing plants every where and so therefore can afford to operate various first world style shopping malls across the twin island state. It is understood that jamaica has gone from the number one english speaking manufacturing country in the region in the 60s to a mostly consumer based society but the government has to do everything they can to boost the renewable sector in such a way that it will be able to compete in the production sector because the hike in the price of oil and gas in the seventies is the reason for the drastic decline in production if i a lay person know this then surely the people in government do. Thats the main solution to jamaicas woes.
Mostly farien and fast food in those refrigerator, just ready for the microwave oven, food ready to serve in five minutes. When I come home to Jamaica, I will be farming my own food!!!!
It would be very great if they carry lots of Jamaican grown and local products instead of imported products, because Jamaica can be self sufficient and independent if governments are honest and willing to stamped out corruptions and get serious in moving Jamaica forward for the sake of the children and the future of the country !!!!!
They do purchase quite a bit from local farmers and local food manufacturers. The local producers came out on opening day. What they import is a lot of appliances, household items , clothing and shoes, electronics etc.
And you worrying about price tag? Just look at the happy shoppers. Let me ask you a question. What do you want the workers to be paid? Pittance? It is all you see valueless workers in Jamaica!
@@marciaparkinson4070 Hope asked to see the price tag meaning she would love to see the cost of the items in the store not how much the store pays the workers 😆
Yes absolutely love and enjoy the tour. This branch seems bigger is IT? So I don't have to shop abroad thus take away all the hassle of packing and shipping barrel what a relief 🙏👍
The lady had a few items in her shopping cart and the cashier said to her.$127,000.I could not believe what she had. That was like one thousand 🇺🇸 dollars. Packing a barrel does not cost you that much. When I pack barrel. I buy things on sales. Go to Jamaica 🇯🇲 and look at the price range. Crazy.
And this is one of the reasons why they charged so much money to pick up a barrel from custom,,they don't want people to send anything to the family who cannot afford to buy at those stores in Jamaica,, because with minimum wage income,,it's very impossible to even think about shopping there....!!!
All d process food from America no wonder y now a days everybody dong dey a dead out from cancer, diabetes an all other kine a diseases, America is a big rich country we cant afford to be following America everything dem do u tell me now which poor person caa go in dey so an shop.....smh....it is sad really sad...
I love this kind of shopping. Cheaper to buy in bulk obviously if u can afford it. You can also get together with friend or family member to share. Many people do that.
I am just wondering if those vegetables are imported into Jamaica, so that means no more fresh fruit and vegetables, and the Jamaican farmers cannot make a living out of farming no more
