Are you kidding me?? How the hell would anyone ever say you talk too much. Not only is it YOUR channel, but the reason you have so many followers is because we love you FOR YOU. I absolutely love your conversational videos. They make me feel like I’m talking to a friend and often helps with my anxiety. If I’m thinking about what you’re saying I’m not over thinking everything else. Don’t change for anyone. If they don’t like it, they literally don’t have to watch. I don't understand why some people say rude things in the name of "it's my right to have an opinion." Just because it is your right, doesn't make it right. Why would someone feel it's okay to tell you that you're too chatty on your own channel? There is a stop button. There is a mute button. There is a speed forward button. There is a back button. There are plenty of options for that person other than something that hurts someone else. Anyway...I LOVE your chattiness and I love this type of content. Thank you for sharing this year of trials, tribulations, joys and accomplishments. I appreciate your candidness! I lost my son as well, he was 36 and was killed in a motorcycle accident. It happened to be on Good Friday in 2019. His birthday is December 10th. Easter and Christmas are really hard holidays for my husband and I, not to mention just December itself. It doesn’t get easier as those who haven’t lost a child will tell you. It just becomes a new normal. I hope this year is filled with joy and laughter for you and your family!♥️

I originally came here to find inspiration for journal layouts and color schemes but I did not expect to be affirmed by your writing, it's so silly but I've always been up and down with journaling because I couldn't figure out if I was doing it right. This is the first time I've seen someone journal that literally mirrors my thought process through my healing journey. It’s good to see the “real” ppl… meaning I can not stand those channels I go on that is filled with unicorns n rainbows, that’s not real life. I have been watching many videos on various sites . You, by far, are my favorite. You have a wonderful personality, and your creativity amazes me. I love that you talk and giggle and explain what you do and why. It's strange to me that people are so mean and critical. Thank you for all your hard work and for sharing it and teaching us how to make beautiful pages. The sites that just have music or they don't share anything and just put stickers down are so boring. Please continue being you, and don't let the nasty people get you down.
I love your channel. You were the first planner that I saw and fell in love with your spreads. I have watched most of your videos. I love it when you do flip throughs. I don't think you are chatty; however, I like it when you talk about your spreads. I like how you explain your spreads, why you did this, how you felt when you did this spread, how you did the spread, what you used to do the spread. I consider what some people call chatty is teaching. Mary Ellen you taught me a lot about journaling. And I like your realness. I like how you let people know that they can do their spread anyway they want to. How to record your life, your feelings. I like how you show journaling as a healing process. I like how you record everything about you, and you can look back to see your life for that year. Was it a good year, was it a bad year. What did I accomplish, what do I need to do to change. How bless I was that year whether good or bad. And when you are talking about your spreads, you are teaching us who are listening how to be creative, how to create different spreads, how to write in our journals beside planning out your day and future. This is your channel. They don't want to hear you talk; they don't want to learn. You have a big following. So, yes tell them not to come to your channel if they don't want to hear you talk. YOU ARE YOU AND NOBODY CAN TELL HOW TO OPERATE UNLESS IT'S GOD. Keep talking,...LOL

Hello,I have been binge watching you all afternoon and I just felt I wanted to comment about your chatty video. I love seeing these journals all filled out like you do, but I really didn't know how or what to put in mine or write about. I am loving hearing you talk about what you wrote where, and why you wrote it. It is really helping me figure out what to write in my planner that is currently only being used for doctor appts, LOL. But there is so much more I would like to write now that you have given me all this inspiration and ideas! And you show the sequence of filling out a page which is SO helpful!! I see these gorgeous spreads with all different color pens and fonts of all kinds and stickers so thoughtfully placed all around, and think I would not know where to freakin start!!! You have made me think that yes I can do this!! So remember, for every Negative Nancy out there grumbling about everything and thinking they can change everybody to what they deem to be right, there are hundreds more of us silently listening to what you have to teach us and loving every colorful minute!!!

I love to hear you talk it helps me grow in confidence as a beginning person delving into journaling because I thought it had to be specific or something I don’t know like …… but you give me the gift of ideas and freedom today it can be grace and goodness tomorrow empty it can be creative or colorful or black and white. It can be pre planned and filled in or on the fly. It can be in a circle or in a square. You’re talking shares and gives wings. It is also you, authentically and I respect that. I kinda fell away from insta and videos I was depressed and feeling really bad and so I am kinda back. You are a lift up. If you need a lift up when someone is ugly remover to go back to family and the ones who lift you up in comments over and over because they see you. They are not here to be mean or ugly because they have ugliness inside like people who are keyboard meanies who are not worthy of your time or your headspace. They do not deserve free rent in there. I know it’s hard when you put yourself out there.

You cover issues in our planner and offer so many creative ideas. For those who have the audacity to be so critical of something they had no part of creating that shows alot about them. Your journal flip-throughs are always my favorite! I was so excited when I saw you posted this video!
I love your spreads! One of my favorites is the black one that you said was quick and dark. Not because I am into black too much…I actually like the bright colors too. But you can tell so easily how you were feeling and it helps you process….which is what a journal is FOR. As much as you don’t fill out your spreads….mine is SO much worse. I have countless journals that I buy and then write ONE thing in and that is it. (It’s a problem) this year I used my Happy Planner to try and journal in that. Honestly I am using more of a “monthly journal” so I don’t have as many but it’s still a lot more than in the past. This year I’m going to try and use more of them; maybe a few weeks of the month.
I love the way you talk through your videos because it makes me feel like I know you; you are genuine and that is my favorite thing about you. I watch some other people too and I get bored with their videos because there is no talking about anything else, i actually have started fast-forwarding them because I don’t need instructions on how to attach a sticker; but I like hearing about your life even if it’s “hey I’m busy and didn’t write anything.” We aren’t mad. We all would be sad if you didn’t do what you had to do to take care of yourself which would result in less videos.
Keep up the journalling! I hope you find August just for your sake. I wouldn’t have even noticed it was missing I just like looking at all your spreads.

I love my Happy Planner. I don't use the monthly calendar either. I have been collaging pics that reflect things I am working towards or just visual things I like, kind of like a vision board for the month. It is fun and looks really cool.

Good way to use up stickers!
Ha! I bought so many Christmas/holiday sticker books, washi, Pet tape, etc., and was so psyched to do amazing spreads for every week in December. Somehow, my December pages ended looking pretty much like yours. To make amends I started putting Christmas stickers on everything--wall calendars, card envelopes, gifts, etc. Oh well, I'll have a great start for December 2024!
