This album is the Way I think older rappers should approach things. They’re not trying to copy this generation and they’re not trying to do what they were doing 30 years ago. There are multiple songs on the album where they talk about where they are in life now and some of the subject matter are things they would’ve never have touched on back in the day, but they are staying true to who they are today.
I heard someone say on math Hoffa once that they wanted Andre 3000 to put out an album to show older fans what they can do as an experience veteran and I think DPG did that perfectly as far as representing themselves, and staying true goes. As of right now this is my favorite album of the year. But there’s a lot more albums coming out but this is the first 2024 album. I have listened to all the way multiple times. Ty DPGC 🙏🚾
