Douglas' Axiom IM intermittent motion case packer offers a variety of advanced infeed solutions to optimize performance for specific product types while maintaining gentle product handling to ensure highest package integrity. The recirculating conveyor infeed is used on this application. It provides a complete recirculating loop system that controls product population and reduces line pressure as products are distributed into lanes.
Raise on return loading is used for collating and loading. This high speed loading technique starts to accumulate product for the next pack pattern as soon as the loader clears the accumulation section.
Douglas' VS-Series Shrink Wrapper provides exceptional package quality in a compact shrink wrapper. It is designed to interface with existing case and tray packers at speeds up to 40 trays per minute. Using single film roll technology, costly maintenance problems associated with conventional cutting and sealing technologies are eliminated. The optional print-registered film control gives you the ability to further enhance your package appearance on the store shelf.
