Everyone is surprised at how he got special treatment but sadly, I am not surprised. Growing up, one of the biggest menaces in school was the son of a well respected officer in our town & the monster who took advantage of many young girls in the church I went to was the Pastors son. I've even seen it when I worked at Denny's. One of my managers was given the store by his parents to run because they ran like 5 restaurants in the area. That guy (30's) slept with almost every girl (17-30's) that became a server, sometimes more than a couple at a time. He was too busy using the restaurant as his personal playground to order things like eggs, fries, condiments... we were always running out of basic items which affected my tips on top of getting crappy hours cuz I wouldn't entertain his creepy advances. It's gross.

I mean he didn't get charged with intent to distribute when he had 36 bags of heroine, coke, and xanax all while intoxicated. Crashed into a house and then got released to his mommy. I would say he got off tremendously easy for what he did and what he had on him. Anyone else with that many baggies of drugs would be charged with intent to distribute.

Let me guess : eventually it was determined that the accident was really an equipment failure and the kid was determined to be not at fault and sued the city for $2.5 million. The house was at fault for being in his way. The 3 displaced families all ended up in prison for planting heroin on the fine upstanding sheriff's son.
