all the specs at least 5/6 of them seem fun to me. arcane sunfury doesnt excite me, but maybe it will when i get to try it myself!
Yeah, every frost and fire combination is awesome, I want to try all three ASAP.

can't play Season 4 now because some Hero Talents look sooo good :D switched to other games until WoW gets the TWW update, this will be a blast!
Definently interested in seeing how Frost plays with frostfire. I assume it wouldnt change too much, but coming with talent changes I'm hoping things spice up a bit!
I was a big Frost-Fire player back in the day. I think the aesthetic is lacking a bit on this new iteration. Looks like they missed an opportunity in the spell effects to add enough blue. But I will definitely be testing and moving back and forth between SunFury and FrostFire.
They could have just used the old animation =[

Tried this on Alpha and honestly I enjoy just as much as Sunfury. Frost works really well with it.

Gameplay wise, it looks great!
Visually, it doesn't look like you end up using Frostfire Bolt too often. Might be nice to add a hint of frost visually onto Pyroblast?
That was one thing I was originally thinking just reading the frostfire tree when they first showed it off, "man this is going to be a lot of buffs to keep track of"
I have been frostfire frost mage for most of the expansion and it’s very fun to play. Hopefully these buffs will make frostfire viable in Pve.
i love fire mage thematically. but i always struggled to make it work in DF. its a combination of me being an average player, key levels being relatively low, pug routes, etc. I could never make good use of SKB. even though i liked the idea way too many times i dropped stacks because of waiting for dead people or very slow tank, not know whats the next pull gonna be and shit like that.
and i feel like i can give mage another shot in TWW. both Frostfire and Sunfury look very intriguing and seem to offer an easier version of what it is now. looking forward to it.
im curious to see how the new tree looks because the data mined stuff makes it seem like they would be adding back in just as many maintenance buffs as they would be cutting

One issue i can see is that with how low the frostfire empowerment proc is, fire will get a lot of empowerments, frost not so many, because frost doesn't have either skb or cdr on icy veins.
Maybe they should bring back propulsion, even as a choice node with thermal void.

These new Mage Hero Talents look fantastic, but I just really hope we get at least 1 spec that has a bit lower APM. Currently the only thing that keeps me away from Fire Mage is the number of actions per minute.
I'm probably rerolling mage in TWW, as they are very elusive for my guild.
My problem with it is the amount of min maxing possibilities they bring to the table. As a spriest, whenever I need to move I plan ahead to use an instant cast, otherwise I know I'm gonna throw a global to a shield or sth. With mage you can blink, or ice floes, or scorch, or barrier, or bank a pyro, think about rewind time, make sure you mirror image... I don't have a problem with complicated rotations (which mage usually doesn't have), I just hammer it in a dummy, but all the options surrounding it can feel very overwhelming, and it's the efficient use of these tools the thing that differentiates good mages from bad mages
dw most people just hve the keybind layout and logic of a 2yo so thats gonna fuck it all over:)

really hard to stick with warrior seeing how well mage is being treated. war talent rework and hero talents are just Ls all around

i care more about design and performance than aesthetics. warrior looks bad anyways by far the least visually cool class.

I thought you said on stream that you didnt like it at all, that it changes nothing about the rotation and that you dont even notice the visuals because you use mostly fire spells anyway

I think its rly sad that there is no real frost mage anymore. We got a Bam Bam fire mage with arcane, and another fire mage with some frost comets, idk.
Idk man, procs used to be fun, now every class has so many procs and enhanced abilities that you just spam any cooldown that comes to you. I would like to go back to a bit less fast paced tempo like in around MoP

Only fire for me , this one I dont know .. looks like blizz tried to make frost a visual feast which by default isnt , but then again with all the tracking it fails for me.
Looking at this just makes me depressed as a ele sham main. Our only hero talent tree atm just spawns a dude which will cast lava burst/chain lightning when you cast (doesnt even do it on their own so you can lose a ton of its damage if you cant cast for whatever reason).
Dudes*) Well, as an ele shaman as well I agree with you. Would like to see Totemic as well, someone said it's gonna be like an augmentation evoker. After Cata blizzard just started to hate Shaman's DPS specs for some reason, it makes me feel like we're the middle child in the family 😂
How can they create 3 omega cool mage trees and then go to shaman and go here are some ghosts who cast primwave even if u hate primwave..

Both Sunfury and Frostfire have me wondering why I'm bothering with my BM Hunter because Pack Leader (BM and SV) is so far quite dull.
BM Hunter is, of course, very efficient for levelling and soloing. It's frustrating being stuck between what I know (BM Hunter) and what looks cool and maybe even more fun (Mage in TWW). 🤔
I'm in the same boat, but come on look at the power! It just looks fun. Mained BM for season 2,3,4. Defo need more of a challenge

Mage and evoker hero talents make me really disappointed in what bland, boring and uninteractive my favorite specs are getting. And people justify it going "but they werent meant to be impactful". Idc what they are meant to be. I want them to be fun for crying out loud!

please remove skb... always hated the design, i don't want it to be bis, or having entire builds tied to that, i swapped to arcane watching Kyuji for 5 minutes and i already feel better even tho my rotation is more complex.

I'm not a mage player. But I need blizz need to keep mage up especially design it to counter mongrol melee. Too much tunnelling and brain dead mongrolism in this game. Need mage to destroy these basement dwelling simpletons
Idk why but I like SKB, I think it’s fun to play around, now before when it only had like a 10 second window, that sucked, now it’s fine

Let's summarize all the info you provided about yourself. You don't know what buff tracking is, you use a controller, your talking about visual cues like this is ff14. Oh and you actually used get gud in a sentence unironically. You totally have my vote of confidence for being a good player. People need to knock it off with the constant moving their char side to side while they fight. This is a dumb pvp habit. It does nothing, it never did anything even in pvp. You're not dodging anyone in a tab-target game. Seeing all these wow videos with nimrods shaking the screen back and forth for no reason.
