If we count on features then may be x7 has more features as compare to defender but high end car users buy these cars to have a classy feel .Hardly any car user uses all the features while routine driving, even they are not fully aware of all the features of the car they are driving from a long time. So personally i feel the way Defender is designed , it has more X factor as compare to x7.

True competitor of BMW X7 IS LR Range Rover. Although in this situation, defender with 3.0L perol engine and the other options loaded can surely give BMW a run for it money, as per my opinion. Bcuz it is more desirable, can go anywhere with thinking twice, and the maintaining of the interior is also much more easy than x7. Although if BMW could provide the same x7 as in international market, then it could be really good!
