Is there a way to change the font size or font style of multiple pages at once?

Thanks for this. However, my panel doesn’t match! Everything on the right is different. Is this a Mac/windows thing? So confused

In the top left check that you are on "Essentials" and if that still doesn't bring up the panel go to the top and click on "Window" and make sure the boxes that you are missing are checked, such as "Pages", etc. I hope that helps! Everyone's will be a bit different based on your defaults, but that can be changed!

Hi Bethany - I'm pulling a book together for an author. I usually just illustrate, and this is my first time trying to do the formating in indesign. I have a question - the author wants the text as large as possible, and there is a lot of text. Should i align the text box edges to the "save zone" lines, or try and make it fit within the box. Thank you!

I love fonts also, and I hate that I love fonts - because I will spend an obscene amount of time looking and downloading them. I also have to learn how to import large amounts of text into Indesign, because I use a voice recorder to write while in traffic. Yes not very safe, but a good use of time...

I feel your pain with fonts, haha. I have a wild collection, lol. But there is a painless way to import text! If you go to File > Place, you can select from a .doc or whatever file you record your writing in, and it will go in without copy and pasting or missing anything 😁 I hope that helps and happy writing!

Hi Bethany I have my manuscript wrote up in word. How do I transfer each paragraph on to INDesign with having to rewrite my story?

Click "File" and then "Place" and choose your document. I hope that helps!

Where do you find open source fonts?

If you are a Patron, I share my favorite resources to dive through here: www.patreon.com/posts/50377451 If not, there are many sites to find great fonts, and always check to make sure it is free for commercial use or purchase commercial rights.
