The amount of federal and state tax taken out then you get taxed again when the rest is considered income not a good deal to take the buyout

If I had retired last yr when I turned 60 and took Lump Sum and invested it as many advisors tell me? It wud have suffered same Fate as other Retirements and be DOWN 30%? If put in "Safe accounts" earning 1-3%during 7-9% Inflation? I was the stable pension payment of $1840 mo vs $236K is over 9% pay out! Will use IRA to bridge to Soc Sec at 65. I am single so no Legacy Comcerns and Both parents. Are Alive and Healthy 90 y old!

Hi I was just terminated from my job that I have a 401k with. I have a loan against my 401k but won’t be able to pay it off in the next few months. Should I take all my money out since there is no penalty now due to Covid and payoff the loan? Should I rollover to an ira? Please help
