Nowadays it’s a rare treat to see the track performed at one of our live shows, but it hasn’t lost any of it’s power in the decade that has passed. Performing Nothing Left together with Marco Hietala was one of the highlights of the night in Tivoli, and in fact, the entire show felt like a highlight; it was one of my favourite shows of our career so far. You can relive the night through our new EP/Blu-Ray Hunter’s Moon. As it was the first time we did an entire tour with Marco as a guest, all songs featuring him, including Queen cover ‘Scandal’ are included, and the video for Nothing Left is now available on RUclips. We hope you enjoy it!"
Without a doubt: Delain belong to the golden spear head of Symphonic Metal! After last year's release of their very first live album the Netherlanders present another live masterpiece - including four brand new studio tracks! Hunter's Moon consists of this fresh material, a live album and a live Blue-Ray disc. The catchy title track Hunter’s Moon and the larger than life orchestral Masters of Destiny offer a haunting preview of what Delain is working on for their next studio album, due 2019. The band’s guitarists step to the forefront in composing two tracks exclusive to this release in This Silence Is Mine (Timo Somers) and Art Kills (Merel Bechtold). The live portion of the release will take you on a cinematic journey to the Danse Macabre Tour in Utrecht’s Tivoli Vredenburg. The majority of the live album features the deep tones of Nightwish’s Marco Hietala and includes heart rendering hits like Nothing Left, Your Body Is A Battleground and Control The Storm. Epic is no expression at all!

I'm with you, been a fan of Marco since I first heard him in the late 80s early 90s (yes I am old) and I found nightwish and delain both the same way, I came for Marco and stayed for the great newer European metal.

I thought that it sounds as if Marco Hietala is singing with Delain! But thought maybe it's someone with a similar voice? So I did my research and confirmed! This is him indeed, and what a great duo!
I came here for Marco. He really is such a strong vocalist, and so unique. He fits in as a legit band member in any guest performance he does, such a good set of chops.
It feels as if yesterday when April rain album was released. One of the albums that got me into metal music ten years ago!

With the awesome voices of the female leads (all of them) that Nightiwsh had, one often forgets that Marco has an awesome voice as well.
With Floor in the mix Marco is way more visible. In fact the whole band shines in equal measure since she joined....in my opinion at least.

It helps he works with Floor, who's also a vocal coach, in Nightwish.
That is not right. As it's completely normal, his voice has gotten more fragile, less powerful. I was at a Nightwish concert in November 2018, and for most of the time,.his singing was just too tame.
I love the guy. A modern day Viking that rules.

Well, Marko has withdrawn for the time being (hope he is fine and comes back). Charlotte is actively creating and releasing new material. Please check out her RUclips channel and her Patreon! She deserves so much more support! Hope she will continue with her art and succeed!
@@jo_g.germany Probably no one will share my opinion about Charlotte, but IMO there was too much fan's support for her, too much attention, too much of increasing her ego. I still wish her well, but after she had left the band I lost all faith in her and her work. Leaving Delain she has lost the best part of her.

@@lajitacongusano9736 The band no longer exists - only Martijn is left. Let's see what is coming out of that. I don't mind much, there are enough other good or better bands around (Epica!). I don't know what went on in the last months of Delain, but since everyone else has left, this does not look like a Charlotte ego issue to me. Whatever it was, I look forward to what both, Martijn and Charlotte, will bring to us in the future in other projects. The one or the other track Charlotte has released on Patreon is certainly not bad at all. Different, yes, but not bad. And she was clear about this to be a side project from the start, and has emphasized this since then.
Sometimes, I think fans are overdoing it a little in their expectations towards artists. That in turn results often in unhealthy atmospheres. Artists need to be free to bring out their best stuff. If they can't be free, their creativity and art withers. There are countless examples for that.

Charlotte wasn't Delain. She was part of Delain. If someone is Delain already, it's the main songwriter of the band. And he actually did it again, making a great song with Marco on Delain's new album.

This band is fantastic. I only got into them a few years back so I've covered their library in a short amount of time and I can't remember an artist that had so many catchy metal songs.
Been in love with this combo since "The Gathering". First time I heard that I smashed Pandora and ran off to buy all the Delain I could get my ears on.
