I got a recipe very similar to this off a policeman thirty odd years ago my kids loved it . I always served it with chips and told them I had made a tomato sauce, it was really a tin of tomato soup . Will still do yours . Love your channel .

Love your food, basic ingredients, wholesome, easy and delicious ! A fondest memory is visiting my Gran. She could make the most delicious homemade pastries with simple fillings, often from leftovers. We loved anything in pastry and jam pastry log was a regular treat. There was always scones or cake too. Grans pantry cupboard was very basic but we felt we ate like kings at her table. And, we were all healthy too ! So different from todays over processed and overpriced convenience foods. Thank you for your great channel. 🍞🍰☕🙏👏

Apparently American overs are slower to cook. Filling is going on 35 min and still liquid in the middle. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait!
