The Brand has big claims for its picture quality and I have bought the VU Glo Led TV Model 55 Inch for testing and review. In this video, I will be unboxing VU Glo Led TV 55 Inch and doing a comprehensive review of this VU Glo Led TV. There's a lot of confusion and ambiguity about its panel type, brightness level, picture quality, and the difference between the VU Glo Led TV and Sony X74K and many other famous TVs. But I have cleared up all the confusion in this video. VU Glo Led TV comes with gaming features too with a good panel and a 104W audio output. You can't be serious. Having a sub woofer is definitely a plus point in terms of audio and if you tweak the audio settings you can get a theatre like experience in this TV. If still you don't like the bass you have an option to turn of the sub woofer. So I don't understand how you had to make it look like it is a con. I have a 55inch tv and anyone considering to buy it under this budget should blindly go for this TV. I highly recommend it.

Banding in HDR content is due to the 8 bit panel. 10 bit panel is required for a better viewing experience especially in scenes with smooth color transitions like a sunset scene where there are many color gradients transitions ranging from red, orange, yellow etc.
This is a 10 bit panel.
The title uncomfortable ain't comfortable enough for Vu GloLED TV. It's a fantastic & one of the best TVs in the given price range.

did you notice the banding because of memc? I bought the TV and after switching off motion smoothening I haven't noticed any banding. Also there is an option to switch off the subwoofer entirely. I have also noticed playing with the picture settings helps a lot, otherwise the colors look unnatural but after calibrating to your taste, it is absolutely perfect.

Light in Room is Moderate, Not harsh light, nor too dark room.

Sir i already have samsung Au 8000 crystal 4k pro 55 inch. I bought this for my bedroom but m quite disappointed bcz i can seee very visible difference between these two tvs. Samsung tvs color are very punchy and looks natural.. frames are legging in vu tv i don't know why

Even if Sony x74k/x75k is a tad better than Vu gloled or any other budget category TVs in terms of picture quality it is not meant for ps5 users or gamers since it doesn't have important features like vrr, allm and also Dolby vision.
This is something he has hidden cleverly
I use Sony x75 as monitor and it beats most 4k monitors. Sonys color optimization and motion handling is so good that Vu cannot compare.
Vrr is mostly useless at 60 hz. Allm is basically if very little value to gamers. It's just sets TV on game mode when you plug console into it. You can do that yourself. But allm saves few seconds. Allm is something I feel console gamers don't need as console already have a lot of lag. As a PC gamer I need it only for multiplayer games.

Thank you for the review of this tv. I am planning to buy VU premium tv 2023 edition 43 inch. My main requirement is that I should be able to download zoom meetings app on that tv and attach a webcam to it to attend my exercise classes. Will I be able to do that with that tv and also which webcam will be best for it with this tv? Also will I need an external microphone with that webcam?
I felt really satisfied when you declared sony x74k a much better tv than vu gloled (in terms of picture quality) as I just bought it today. For me picture quality is the first and foremost thing you should look for in a tv. I got a chance to view vu gloled and sony x75k together and I really saw the difference.

Yes x74k & x75k are one of the lower end models from Sony. It’s decent if you are primarily a casual TV watcher and just want a big TV that is 4K at a reasonable price. If you are a gamer or movie watcher, you’d want to look at the very least X85 or X90 since it does not support auto low latency mode and dolby vision.

What if I say HDR10+ is not mentioned as supported feature on Flipkart. In fact, If I mention Amazon or Vu's official website neither HDR10 nor HDR10+ mentioned as supported. Then what's the point of testing and criticising it?
It is mentioned in the official website, please check the spec sheet always for any TV from the company website instead of Amazon or Flipkart specs, Even for Sony x75L it has only 50 Hz refresh rate as per official sony website, however everyone claims 60 Hz.. I dont know what to say :)

I am confused between sony TV KD-65X75K vs toshiba 4K QLED TV (65M550).. both similarly priced (+- 10K) 65 inch TVs; sony's model is LED vs Toshiba's is QLED; sony Bravia engine and content upscaling seems to be better. Please avoid buying VU tvs. Their service is really bad in Hyderabad and they outsource all service related issues. I had bought masterpiece glo qled tv 55inch 55QMP model in Aug'22 . It's screen was damaged accidentally by the carpenter and when enquired VU service they have quoted 48000 INR(after several follow ups)for screen replacement while the actual cost of the TV itself is 68000 INR. I was influenced by many youtubers to purchase VU tv.
Sir my budget is Rs.55k. There are windows opposite the TV and I usually watch TV by sitting on the bed that is placed exactly opposite the TV. Currently I am having a Sony LCD TV and I can see reflections from the windows in its panel while watching the TV.
So can you please suggest me a good 55 or 65 inch TV for this price range.
I watch set top box HD and SD content, sports channel and all the ott content in my TV.

I have purchased this tv and so far happy with it's performance. But there is one issue. While watching HDR like for example Rings of power, there is sometimes a glitch. For a fraction of a second the colors flip or the picture jumps suddenly. But only for a fraction of a second. For other formats the issue is not reproduced. Can anyone say if this could be a software issue or a hardware issue?

Hi. Thanks for your response. The only Hdmi cable I have connected is for my 5.1 in the eARC port. The picture input is directly from the Google tv. Do you think this hdmi connection to 5.1 is causing this glitch? Also, this is only for HDR and Dolby vision content. 1080p has no issues.

Vu GloLed is definetly better in terms of picture quality i think. U may compare sceens of tonado 2.0 and Vu Glo Led of Gangubai and bhool bhulaiya movie of vineet reviews. Clarity in dark sceens is better on Vu GloLed, i just compared both. Huge difference.

I have used this model for 7 months now...dark spots / clouds are getting more and more prominent in white backgrounds...panel quality inferior....I will not recommend this TV!...I will never ever try these budget TVs again.....I am back to Sony/LG/Samsung, there is a reason why they cost more !!

What would you recommend for 43" TV between VU GloLED TV, LG UQ7500 and Samsung Crystal Neo 2022? My living room has plenty of sunlight. I would be also buying an additional soundbar/home theatre. So the only important criteria are picture quality and brightness. TIA!
Friend, you must buy a TV with IPS Panel for your living room, so LG or Hisense A6H are the two options for you to choose.

Just wanted to say that there is one channel who praises all Vu TVs as the next big thing in their reviews just does the marketing for them and nothing more. Her reviews should be taken with truckloads of salt.

By doing such a comparison at their launch event, the Brand tried to create a price comparison between the TVs in everyone's mind and then show how Value for Money their TV is. People should really understand that a budget TV can never match the picture quality of an established brand's model.

when the ambient light sensor is kept ON, the backlight turns bright and dim like a phone flash, every 5 to 10 seconds. and in HDR mode the low light scenes lack detail (look like 720p)

Should I buy vu gloled 43inch vs hisense a6h 43inch. This is my secondary account. I actually ordered a6h after watching your review. Too bad the tv was damaged during shipping and I couldn't get a replacement. Only a refund was available. Customer care executives said there is no stock for your location. I ordered a6h 43inch for 21200/-. I feel unlucky 😓.

There is no point of adding so much features if the processor and hardware is weak.. the performance is horrible after a month only. After 8-9 months .. i cannot watch movie in dolby vision IQ because it acts wierd now. Even playing 4k video on youtube is a task .. have tried all hacks but performance is degrading by passing each day ..
Viewing angles are horribly bad .. just watch it from straight front. The moment you move from centre to the corner of sofa, it sucks..
Tv manufacturers need to realize befor making such tv's, at least a compatible processor is required.. else its a waste .. horrible hardware configuration .. entire tv sucks ..

Black patches ka issue to is tv me hai jo dono side dikhta hai. Mujhe moka mile to main sony hi le loon.

Vu company is good but it's never stand again sony because sony is too old company and its work and spend so much money for picture quality and that's how sony gain our trust but if we talk about vu, vu waste there most of the money on lauch event and to show that vu TVs is more better then sony but the truth is vu never give picture quality like sony

In this tv major problem is angle view, if we are seeing in the side angle it's getting more brighter,
If we are watching the tv infront we can view better quality...

I dont think one should buy tv. With slight higher price you can get a samsung 4k tv. I purchased the tv and within two months black line has come on the screen and the support team said its physical damage and would charge 18000 for panel change cost and plus additional labour based if required. The repair cost is 70 to 80 percent which is not worth spending on this TV.
Guys Dont take vu, they are fraud, repairing cost will be same as tv cost , it will get damaged after warranty period , display panel is very weak , it damages

I purchased a VU Glo Led TV 55 inch after seeing your review. I noticed you don't provide honest review all the time. The VU Glo Led TV is supper slow in remote response, while you claimed 0.9 second remote response.
