I've seen this several times over the years and have only just realised that when Peter's in the cocoon he sounds a bit like Alan Partridge.
yeah, i was the creative pod creating guy. Special effects whatever. He did sound like Partridge on set. I went home and tried to tell my mother that too, but she had passed away 4 hours earlier. I didnt appreciate that at all because i felt the world needed to know. It was uncannily partridge.

plutonium is apparently warm to the touch, but it doesn't glow - unless it's kept under water, then it glows with pale blue Cherenkov radiation, which is to light what a sonic boom is to sound

Yeah the green glow is kinda a stylistic element thats used on Atomic stuff. And i think the Cherenkov radiation is of a kinda turcoise color.

Having produced hundreds of these kind of shows, watching this feels like being sat in Jimmy Savile's torture chair.
What was the worst product you ever had? How did you manage to sell it?
@@uukyspuuky3121 one of the worst was "lapis lazuli gemstone globes" of all sizes. They were supposed to be made from gemstone laminate and brass but it was really just coloured dust, resin and cheap alloys. The markup must have been enormous. You sold it with artful lighting and all the fake sincerity you could muster.
I found an old thread from 2006 talking about those globes on HSN. They were all fawning over it but you could clearly see the base was potmetal. I'd be surprised if it were colored dust from what I saw. @@TWW-zk9gw

he had a galaxy of width. He just needed depth. Everything he wrote got your attention, but it needed a team of writers to flesh it out. One solitary series proved it.
