I have dabbled in stocks a little bit in the past, but I have never really "invested." If you were me at my age, with the amount of money I have, and the state of the market at the moment, what would you do? How would you respond? Would it be a terrible idea for me to take it out and invest in Microsoft/Apple or perhaps an ETF like SPY/VOO? I'm new here, so any guidance would be highly appreciated!

I completely agree! I've had the pleasure of working with a seasoned professional for nearly 4 years,who have been involved in launching IPOs. We got in fairly early with a modest amount of money. Then it mushroomed like an atomic bomb. We had over 4 m dollars after GME profits in 2020/2021. Inflation has eaten away at the nest egg but we are lucky to have Monica look after it diligently like she has done the past 3-4 years.
Definitely private invsting is the way to go. Our govrnmnt keeps lying. I’d like to earn like that is it a private equity fund or mutual funds invsting?

The Elliott analysis is rather interesting. I have tried to do it manually but find so many variables and almost never get it right in choppy markets. So I like it as general guidance while using other momentum indicators. Currently, with a very divided political environment, I feel it is going to be very hard until the elections and wonder if there will be lots of relabeling. Thanks
I agree things will likely be rather choppy from here into the election and at that point the patterns will become clearer. I think in general, people don't realize the complexities in the algorithm that RN Elliott wrote. I've seen a great number of people try and label the waves manually based on impulses and corrections, but I haven't found anyone that could manually label the patterns as the algo does. Yes, it is common for GLD and SLV to have "short term" divergences and although their patterns may be a bit different, they usually come back to pretty similar patterns. Thanks for the post!
Last week I posted a comment about seeing a report projecting silver to $50 or more over the next few months. I failed to mention that this report uses Elliott Waves and other technical analysis. It is also projecting silver’s long target is between $160 and $170. I have been receiving this monthly report for about 15 years. Another Elliott Wave channel I watch agrees with you about silver’s immediate prospects that there will be a short correction followed by a continuation of the bull market in silver. A non-Elliott Wave, technical channel is projecting the overall bull market to continue for a little while yet and then we will get a very deep recession. I and others are calling for a depression, as I have said several times before. By the way a major weakness of Elliott Wave and other technical analysis is that it fails to take into account the environment, resource depletion, energy demand and the availability of energy to meet that demand.
I've seen a report that projects silver going to $50 or more over the next few months. Currently we are in a wave ii correction of a wave 3 up. This same report is also projecting gold to be in a wave 2 correction before being a wave 3 up. The American dollar is projected to go into a year long decline. Take this for what you may.
One thing I've learned over the years, is that I create a system that I trust after lots of testing, focus on that and block out everything else. The nature of the markets is for differences of opinion, so I "stay in my lane so to speak." Thanks for your take and the post!

You are correct, timing is very important in the world of options trading. There are Fibonacci timing tools that many people use to give a potential range on the time forecasted for a particular move. I tend to look at how linear to move was up to the Wave 5 and then use a similar degree for the corrective move. It's far from perfect, but I haven't personally found anything that has a high degree of accuracy on timing. Thanks for the post!

You're correct!! I make a lot of money without relying on the government. Investing in stocks and digital currencies is beneficial at this moment.

The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
