You can’t help but root for the guy. I became a fan of his when he came here to Houston. Guys like him and Patrick Beverly truly are start role players.
Raptors fan here. I remember watching him when we first drafted him. It was a blow out game against the knicks and i remember watching this undersized unit of a dude just out work amare stoudamire tirelessly. Knew he was a tough dude then and was a hardwr worker than bargnani . Super happy teams noticed him tooo and rly carved out a solid career for himself
“…released for Luke Jackson” As a raptors fan, I died a little inside. I was a big fan of Tucker and also felt we should’ve drafted Aldridge over Bargnani. Finding RUclips videos of prospects were hard and then right before playoff he just left. His second stint with raptors may have helped us with the building blocks of “many do-it-all guys with overlapping skills” today. I am incredibly happy for him and all that he has accomplished
Love this video, you guys are dope for this one… PJ is the definition of perseverance, it ain’t over till it’s over. 2 great finals runs in a row, and now he going to a 76ers team that are ready to go all the way! I’m excited for his next 3 years in the league.
Bro is an elite defender. Never seen him back down from a challenge. He played center for that Houston small ball season. Will guard your best player a give him hell!
There’s a long line of players like PJ that are key pieces of a Championship caliber team, usually 3 and D guys. I.E. Bruce Bowen, Shane Battier, Raja Bell etc. You need these guys to slow down and effect your Kobe/Lebron/MJ/KDs. Juggernauts on offense need counterparts on D. What an under appreciated role and PJ is a legend for it.
PJ Tucker defines what hustle in a person is. He’s not as entitled as some NBAers and he has to play, sometimes out of position, with 100% energy and hustle to get paid
Agreed. Even busts or the scrubbiest of players will run roughshod over amateurs. Why it’s sad to see people clown some players who didn’t live up to potential. The NBA game’s standards is very high.
@@giannisksanthopoulos4300 Giannis need a real star w/ him other than Middleton. Bucks can’t beat upgraded 76ers, Celtics and Heat with Nets being the dark horse that can surprise the whole league
P.J. may have been in Milwaukee for all of about 15 minutes lol, but us Bucks fans will never EVER forget his controbutions to the championship run in 2021 (and especially his speech at the parade lmao)
Tucker doesn't get enough credit for helping install the Raptors hard-nosed culture. He wasn't on the team for a long time but no one embodies the got it out the mud identity of the team. Kyle is the archetype, Demar the idol, Norm the product, Fred and Pascal the protégés of the system, but Tucker has a place in that legacy too.
That’s crazy that a player viewed as a good college players and bounced between the G-League went to Israel and instantly became the best player in the league.
Y’all goated for making videos about players like PJ
FACTS
When he came to Toronto for a second stint I became a fan for life!! Love the drive, passion and hustle. Glad he got a chip.
You can’t help but root for the guy. I became a fan of his when he came here to Houston. Guys like him and Patrick Beverly truly are start role players.
Guy deserved every bit of his success. Helluva star role player.
I thought dude was 6'1" .
PJ TUCKER IS A STAR ⭐️ ROLE PLAYER! He’s so good at DEFENSE AND CAN SHOOT THE HELL OUT OF THE 3 pointer!!
shoot the hell out out of the 3 pointer is cap

Love that you did at the story behind PJ tucker. bravos.
As a Houston fan one of my favourite Rocket's players ever will never forget his hustle 💪
His sneaker collection is wicked
So bloody happy to see guys like PJ Tucker get their due credit.
Great video. Hoping for more regarding other key role players who were vital in winning championships.
Very likable player. Has a lot of heart.
PJ Tucker underrated defender & special corner 3pt 🔥🔥🔥
star role player! tucker is one of my favorite nba players
“Star role player” that’s the perfect way to sum up players like PJ. Already earned a like and a sub 30 seconds in😂
So happy to have PJ in Philly the next few years, desperately needed someone like him in the locker room and in the starting five.
Bro is an elite defender. Never seen him back down from a challenge. He played center for that Houston small ball season. Will guard your best player a give him hell!
Wow! Good job on this video
Great video again thescore

Great video and a great story. Love that he won a ring and played a massive part after a deadline trade, feels fitting.

This just tells you how good and elite a average role player in the nba is

Great vid! You guys should do more vids about glue guys and star role players! Them that we know, but know little about who they are.
Great video! All respect to the work horse that is PJ Tucker.
Love me PJ Tucker
Dude got heart !!! Respect 🫡 all day !!!!
One of the greater series out there for basketball content. Along with the secret base's deep rewind.
Great player
theScore RUclips channel is my P.J Tucker
We proud of you nephew.
Heat fan, loved having PJ, sad he left, but he's got history with Harden, and if they can step up and stay healthy, they got a real shot
Pops junior is a dope nickname
As a Heat fan, I’m still sad he left.
So he is again with Harden?
Obviosly PJ is good with one ring :D
@@giannisksanthopoulos4300 Giannis need a real star w/ him other than Middleton. Bucks can’t beat upgraded 76ers, Celtics and Heat with Nets being the dark horse that can surprise the whole league
Saw it again last night
P.J. may have been in Milwaukee for all of about 15 minutes lol, but us Bucks fans will never EVER forget his controbutions to the championship run in 2021 (and especially his speech at the parade lmao)
Much Respect to P.J Tucker
Loved tuck when he was with the suns
Greatest role player in the game. Getting his 2nd ring this year.
The Undisputed Sneaker King 👑💯
My favorite 3 and D guy
That was cool!
Go hustler!!! This scores a WIN for Blue Collar workers!!!
I love pj tucker

Grit the grind the motivation and determination Ballislife oh yeah his agent from Bridgeton NJ
As a heat fan, I will miss him so much :(
That’s crazy that a player viewed as a good college players and bounced between the G-League went to Israel and instantly became the best player in the league.
Happy he got the bag but damn Heat gonna miss PJ😔
Honestly. If it’s the 2020s, you have 2-3 star players and you need the best affordable role player for anything but pg, it’s literally just Tucker.
As a Heat fan, I miss PJ already
PJ tucker the dude you want on your team
Wasn't there a Rasho story with PJ's time in Toronto?
How’d you forget about his sneaker collection in the promo
what song is this?
Nothing flashy, just great defense and swishing corner 3's. Glad he got his ring with that Bucks crew. Board man gets paid!
@jawa...
His suits are flashy
Nizeee
The fact that he's never been in any all defense teams is a testament to just how incompetent the voters are.
PJ, Draymond, Rodman... Is very unique talent
P.J. Tucker is the ultimate competitor. The Milwaukee Bucks lost something when they let him walk to Miami. 💁🏻♂️🏀🏆
Who woulda thought in 2006 that the second round rookie at the end of the bench would have a way better career then the first overall pick 😂
Hes a star bro. Not many Nba starters in the world
I was so disappointed when Toronto didn’t retain him after his second stint
1:22 - looks like Joe Johnson
Love PJ on the Heat. I’m still salty they let him walk
pjs the most unique player ever stretch 4 at 6'5 who is a bench player by regular season a 30 minute starter by the time of the playoffs
he is a fucking HUSTLER! nothing but RESPECT FOR THAT MAN!!!!!
Caruso next 👆🏼
Let's go around the world with obscure foreign players
100 vid
I wanna see The Story Behind: Kyle Lowry 🍑👀👍🤣👌
Love those shots of him getting in KD face ….undersized but loved to compete…. Earned and deserved every dime he made playing ball
The 76ers can’t wait to let you ball out.
Not the comments I was exepecting
GINOBLI NEXT
I hate the Bucks let him go
Why bucks traded him
PJ is at true never say die player. I think he is a better role player than Draymond
Lool he never made an all star team, Dray is HoF
need a better mic bro
P.J Tucker. "Pajamas Tucker" ? 🤷♂️
Second!
90 million in his career really shows how overpaid some players are....
thiago silva = pj tucker
