Thanks for watching!
Awesome. Thanks Greg.
I've been putting together VPX over the last week, and your videos have really helped me, because it's not an easy job.
Excellent! I'm so glad they have helped you! VPX really has come a LONG way!....
VPX will be the reason I can enjoy playing pinball. I can afford to play 2 times a month currently and am a bit limited to places that I have to travel about an hour to get to.
Now I can use my high end PC to emulate some of the tables I want to practice, and I can play on tables I cannot find. I’m really excited to get this going on my PC
Thank you so much for this. Had no idea about that amazing spreadsheet. This is the way to do your virtual pinball setup!!!
The spreadsheet is a must for tables, together with various sites.
Oh wow. Yet another super useful vid. Thank you so much for this, Spacies. Cheers!
You are most welcome, thanks for the kind comments! Cheers!
Thanks, perfect timing as I just re-installed VPX on my new PC after a couple of years not playing.
Thanks Gregg! This site in particular is going to save me a lot of headaches, as I was already starting to get them going the route I used to back in the day.
Yep this is an incredibly useful app to navigate the tables and all related files while pointing people to the right source locations and communities. Definitely is a game changer when setting up and maintaining VPX! Glad it's been of help for your build! Cheers!
Awesome!! Wow such a great resource. Will look for your first video in hopes to find instructions on putting the pieces together for play. Been having errors when reading the properly named zipped ROM file. We shall see! Thanks again!!
Fantastic. Makes getting things up and running a breeze.
WOW big thanks, you help me, I'm new for pinball.
Great video! Thanks for the link! :)
You are most welcome!
Peace,
Thanks for putting this info out there. It's a little known resource I send people to regularly.
Much appreciated 👍
Great info. Gonna try some of this out this weekend.
Awesome!
Pretty darn cool one stop shop. However, I don't know how often you update, but I recently uploaded a new version of Star Tours - Star Tours II - making the old one pictured obsolete.
Thanks! This is an awesome resource.
thank you this is a life saver👍
Thanks 👍 Last 2 videos have helped a lot 🙏
Thank you! I'm glad to hear these videos have helped you! Happy flipping 👍
Awesome resource. Never visited Spacie's Arcade before. Subbed. This is an excellent resource. Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend. After I do my taxes :p
awesomeee!!!!!
Thx m8! Im building now my own cabin. This is great!
Thanks Greg!
this is just great help cheers and big thanks
I'm glad it helps and thank you for commenting! 👍
AWESOME STUFF!!!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
It is far better to have one pinball table that works well, than 200 tables that work OK. Quality > quantity! Always start from one and make it play great in your setup. This took me a while to realise. Check that the VPX game has Nfozzy physics. All the other games don't feel real and are usually way too easy.
💯 Excellent advice!
What if I’m a newb with bad self-respect problems that likes the easier physics? Lol /j
@@MrSkerpentine of course that is your choise. But then you are not playing the game the way the original game was designed to play. Pinball games can be notoriously hard.
Bord's latest version of Paragon is a great example. I play that game at local arcade quite a lot and I spent few weeks to make the physics as close to original as possible on it. It is super hard and punishing game irl. Common strat to tap pass to right flip works great. It is part of the fun that it is punishing. It makes you play it again and again.
@@iaakki that’s fair. Right after I posted that comment, I decided to go on the site and test some nfozzified versions of tables I’m virtually familiar with and the feeling is much closer to the few times Ive played pinball in person (aka I’m way worse lol), but I’ll hopefully slowly accustom to the change in speeds. I played the nfozzy-enabled Bord version of Batman the Dark Knight and actually beat my old high score on a non-nfozzy version so maybe it’s just a case by case basis lol
What they need is a portable handheld that handles vpx. That would rule.
it's a pain in the rear to set up puppack tables and they take a lot of spaces on your hard drive. Not sure if they're worth it.
Ya but how thehell do you get a stern rom to run? You have to change them somehow but I can't understand how, nobody can tell me in plain English???
wow, this is awesome! are the most recent versions usually listed (or noted) so the link/tables goto the most up-to-date table? and/or do they list all versions, ilke the various backglasses it looks like?
Yes, default list is sorted by most recent (Last Updated). When you click on the item you then see the latest version and all previous versions, with the associated tags so you can easily work out which one is best for you.
Question - I am new to "virtual" pinball. Can VPX Pinball be played on a desktop or laptop PC? If so what specs should the computer have to run VPX tables smoothly? Second, if I can play these pinball tables on a computer, where do I get the file(s) needed to simply run VPX Pinball?
If you run VPX at 1080p any mid range pc or notebook will run VPX smoothly. Search VPX Baller Installer for a simple setup. If you get stuck or want to learn more see my other video: "Visual Pinball? Start Here" ruclips.net/video/oDW3e03vaJU/видео.html
WOW, locks good . . .
how can i download from that site the tables i want? cheers for your work!
Is there anywhere in AUS - Vic where I can get a good pinball cabinet at a good price?
Is there some trick to access this site? No matter what browser I use, I just get a blank white screen.

@@SpaciesArcade THANK YOU! I just got a new PC a few days ago to get OTG setup, and the spreadsheet I saw a week ago would not come up no matter what browser I used!
Apologies if I missed it, but is it possible to run the games tagged with "No Rom" that don't have a ROM file linked, since you typically need to get the Table and the Rom?
Absolutely. Many of the original tables that aren't a reskin of an actual real table only have a table file and no rom. This is perfectly normal for those tables and they don't need rom files.
As far as vr what would be your choice between vpx, pinball fx3, or fx
IMO - VPX for both real table recreations and originals however I do really like FX originals in VR.
how do you load games tried load giligan island but it wont load
If you used the baller installer to install everything and you downloaded the Gilligan's island table and placed it in the TABLES subdirectory and you have the rom for the table in the ROMS subdirectory then it should then just work.
where is the "start here" video?
