Of all the videos I've seen, this one seems the best, without a doubt. Do not be scared with the 35 minutes of video, the guy talks calmly and makes many examples. I leave here the cue points of the video: - Min 0:00 - Red-Ox adjustment basics through an example. - Min 6:00 - In an acid medium example 1. - Min 9:10 - In an acid medium example 2. - Min 13:18 - In the video he makes a mistake, as it can happen to anyone and he corrects it immediately. - Min 13:50 - In an acid environment example 3. - Min 17:30 - In basic medium example 1. - Min 20:40 - In basic medium example 2. - Min 24:33 - In basic medium example 3. - Min 29:00 - In basic medium example 4.

quick mistake at 12:48 for the ClO- you multiplied it by 2 when it was suppose to be 3 I believe. Everything else was multiplied by 3 in order to balance out the 6 electrons.
Dear Organic Chemistry and the viewers, If you first found this channel I must tell you, this is ABSOLUTELY the most WORTHIEST channel to subscribe. 1) It has all the videos that the level you learning need" AP, IB, GSCE,...). 2) in every video, you will find a surprise that you never know from your teachers and I guess that this mentor here has to have a long long experience than any teacher I have learnt because all of his tips in each season are so effective and easier to understand. I am a very average student and Chemistry is the most struggling subject I have ever taken in my entire life( I am studying IB btw). I don't know how to express my appreciation for this channel but thank you very much.

You're a better teacher than my lecturers! #NotMeWaitingForAFaceRevealSoWeCanSeeTheGeniusTalkingToUs
mate, your explanations are 100 times better than the book I'm using.. you're fantastic.. and you give enough examples for me to get it into my head... better explanations than I've ever had.. thank you sir!!
Im no expert but if im not mistaken theres an error in the Al + ClO- example. the half reaction where you multiplied through by 3 you got 2ClO- by the operation 3(ClO-)
Yeah I was doing the problem after he wrote the initial equation down and got 3ClO- and I was pretty confident I got it right. I came down here to see if anyone else had the same problem. :)
Yet again your videos have saved me! I love how you take the time to walk us through so many examples. That's how I learn best and it makes it easier for me to understand.
Heh, that is fine because the first couple ones he does (neutral solutions) are a completely different concept from the later ones (acidic and basic solutions).

The example titled "sulfite" is wrong. First of all Ni doesn't precipitate but gets reduced to Ni2+. You'd have to rewrite that equation and multiply those 2 half-rxns accordingly. I noticed it because there was some funny accounting going on with the charges, namely Ni(OH)3 doesn't have a -1 charge, but it's overall neutral!
