      Some of the planets (apparently) had such massive eclipses, that "daytime" missions were pitch black, could barely see anything without lights on it. Can't count how many times I died due to walking right into "invisible" enemies. I'd love to see helmets with head lights or something, as many weapons don't have lights, and even the ones that have are pretty much useless when you're running.

    • @Comrade_Alpaca
      @Comrade_Alpaca 15 дней назад +3

      this game has one of the worst keybind systems I've ever seen in a game (at least for controller bindings). There are way too many actions that can't be changed, which limits the amount of buttons you can rebind to, many of the actions conflict with one another if bound to the same button, half of the input activations don't work for many actions (i.e. tap, long press, etc. may not function properly for certain actions or buttons that they're bound to). It would be a fantastic system if it were actually implemented well, but all of the bugs and conflicts cause it to basically force you to use the default layout. Not to mention all of the conflicts the new vehicles have as you can't change vehicle control bindings at all.
      I've seen tons of games with much better systems, or a similar system that's actually implemented well. Heck, I generally have 0 problems with bindings and control schemes in videogames, but this one has consistently pissed me off every time I have to rebind something. It constantly bugs me when I need to change a binding and I end up having to change half the controls around to prevent conflicts, then I find a conflict that can't be fixed so I just revert to the default control scheme.

In the first game, you could lose the campaign as Super Earth, and then it'd indicate we evacuated and relocated 'Super Earth' to another planet. This easter egg would suggest canonically Super Earth as a faction did lose at least once, before winning and gaining peace for ~100 years.

    And this is why Helldivers 2 is absolute cinema. The attention to detail that most don't even notice because they're too busy fighting is insane. The gap between top down shooter (HD1) to third-person (HD2) was already enough to blow my mind as a veteran. Even now I still get amazed with how cinematic this game is.
    I don't know if it's possible now as I haven't been able to do it for a while. But you could "eject" the extraction eagle into the air if you placed supply strats directly under the wings. I can't seem to get it to work now as they either bounce off, or when it lands it wouldn''t pop out whwen it landed. But it was fun to fling it in to the air as it would cue the final part to the extraction theme (when your stats are popping up) while still on the ground.

    There's a couple extra things if you poke around at the end of the tutorial including a burned up body next to a flame thrower. Also just after you get to the tutorial base there's a termanid in a box in the parking-lot type area to the right as you start the tutorial. It's just sort of banging around in there.

    It took me awhile to finally get this game and play it, just got it 1-2 months ago, but I knew it wouldn't be a let down. They really just hit all the right notes. One of the best games ever, I love it.
    HD2 is almost like a spiritual successor to the old Mercenaries games. Only other game I can think of that put so much emphasis on calling in artillery support, etc.

    that's the reason they deserved the awards. Imagine an universe where Ubisoft, Blizzard and EA took those details in the account when designing and making games? they would never do those things right now (I hope I'll be wrong).

    Btw you can see the exact amount of bullets in your mag hit the floor. So once you reload you look in the mag that’s on the ground and you can see the bullets. I thought it was a cool detail. Also the sights are reflective with the environment like reflections with the sun or the nature behind you
