I can't tell you how thankful I am for all of your videos. It can be VERY difficult to get finishing advice/instructions, let alone such a detailed set of tutorials. You are making needlepoint and needlepoint finishing accessible to so many people. You have my endless gratitude!!!!
What are your thoughts on glueing the cording rather than sewing - I would love to glue only? Is there a reason you glued one side and sewed the other cording? Thank you - great videos!
Glue cording to both sides using fabritac. I was just showing sewing to people that want to sew and that it is fine to glue as long as you use the right product.
The quilting nips are the stubby scissors. I only finish my designs now. There is a finishing form on my website to fill out and send/take to your fav. Needlepoint store. Let me know if you need help!
1/8th you get it in the framing department at Micheals or loose matte board/foam core section at hobby lobby. If you buy online it may come too thick as some of the amazon vendors don't know the difference. Just make sure you can get free return shipping.😊
Hi Millie, I only finish through needleoint stores and only my designs. If it is one of my easter band ornaments, contact your favorite needlepoint store and they can give you a price. Sorry I can't give you a more precise answer! 😊

I love the wrapped strip for the sides. It makes it look so cohesive.
This was perfect timing! I was trying to decide how to finish a Starbucks cup and this is perfect! Thank you so much for sharing!
Why would you not cut your fabric for the sides on the bias?

If you had a thicker, jacquard fabric.. do you think you’d be able to just wrap the edge of the insulation with the fabric using darts and glue?
Probably! It would just make it almost a inch thick.😊 Give it a shot and let me know how it works out!
So can we send you our projects to finish?
What kind of scissors are you using?

Thank you for your video’s . Please keep your camera adjusted so we don’t miss anything.
I try, not as easy when I am doing zoom at same time.😃
Can you tell me what width of foam board you use?
