The big Graupner catalogs were also my holy grail in the 70s and 80s during my growing up in Denmark. I had "Der Kleine UHU" and after working a full summer vacation and saving up I bought their first 1/8 scale road glow car with the HB.21 engine and black Varioprop 14S 40MHz radio. They really knew how to produce a captivating catalog.
Thanks for posting this! I had the Filou model when my Grandparents took me over to Germany/Europe in the summer of '76, I built up the wing and the rudder and stab before I flew home to the States at the end of the summer, my completed wing was up in the cockpit of the Lufthansa 707 with the flight crew! Cheers! Franz in NJ USA
I still have my first scratch built modified Hi-Fly. I had used a different airfoil: Eppler 387. It'll be 30 years old this year and in need of foiling...
I found my FIRST airplane in here. Dandy. My brother bought it and partly built it around 1977. Then I bought it from him a year or two later and built the rest of it. :)

When I was a kid I used to send hours and hours looking over so many catalogs. Nice flashback. Thanks 👍

Da werden Erinnerungen wach! Ich hatte u.a.
